Story
Meet Kevin, the ultimate sidekick! This adorable, young pup has a big heart and even bigger love for his human companions. Abandoned at a dog park, Kevin found himself in need of a loving home. With a moderate energy level, Kevin has bursts of playful zoomies and loves running around, especially during fetch sessions with his favorite stuffed sheep and rubber pig. He's also leash-trained and enjoys his daily walks, but he's just as happy hanging out by your side while you work, embodying the role of your faithful shadow. With his sweet, loyal nature, Kevin would make the perfect companion for someone looking for a best friend to share life's moments with. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Story
We adopted Ollie about three years ago from Operation Kindness. He weighs about 90-95 lbs. He's very loyal and protective. Ollie is house trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. Ollie is decently trained for certain things (go outside, sit, etc.). We can't take him with us to our new home Once attached to you, he is very loyal, protective, and just a big baby. We haven't really had him around too many other people besides us, so he will need trained properly for that. Due to our work schedules, we also can't provide him the correct exercise he needs. He does have shedding often, so will need brushed frequently. We wish we could take Ollie with us, but we just can't.

Story
Jax is a handsome Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with a heart full of love and a bit of shyness that makes him uniquely endearing. At first glance, Jax may appear reserved, especially around unfamiliar faces or in new environments. While he’s not one to rush into social situations, his friendly nature shines through once he feels comfortable. With time, patience, and a little encouragement, Jax warms up to new people and situations, showing off his playful side and eagerness for affection. Jax enjoys outdoor activities like walks or playing in the yard, though he might need a moment to settle into new surroundings before fully engaging. His calm demeanor makes him an ideal companion for a relaxed home.

Story
Hi! My name is Daxter. I am a little over 2 years old and currently 52lbs. I am a neutered male who is microchipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for heartworms. My adoption fee has been sponsored by a very generous donor so I am FREE to go home! Please feel free to visit me and my friends during visiting hours Monday through Friday 11am to 5pm and Saturdays 10am to 2pm.You could describe me by a few of these characteristics:Energy level-A quick jog would be fun!Affectionate- Sure, we can snuggle.Strangers- I can warm up to just about anyone.House Manners- I`m a super considerate housemate.Kids- I don`t know yet, but I`m sure I would love to be part of a family.Dogs- Probably with a proper introduction I could get along with most dogs.Cats- I don`t know yet. I have never met a cat but I`m open to it with the proper introduction.Health- I have probiotics to go home with to help support my microbiome. Please ask a staff member for more information.
