Summer was born approximately on July 7th 2021. She was found as a stray with open wounds on her legs and feet. Her owners were never found. She spent some time healing at a foster home and she did great. Friendly with people and children. Loved spending time with the family and snuggling and playing with them. She has been at the facility for some time now all healed and working on manners. She is improving her leash training and learning not to jump. She knows sit and understands the command NO. I love doing zoomies in the yard and spending time outdoors. She has made some friends at the facility. Slow introductions would be recommended. Mac is a 10 year old, 66 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Yes, Mac is a senior gentleman with a distinguished gray muzzle, but he is still young at heart! Mac loves everyone, including his tiny human sister and his four legged brothers and sisters, and he play chase with one of the resident dogs. He's faster than you would think! He likes to bring his toys to his soft bed for nap time. He loves going on car rides and stopping at Sonic for his favorite doggie treat. Mac likes his routine, so he needs a calm, quiet, low activity home. Lance is a 7 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Hound mix that came to Humane Tomorrow from a Florida shelter during Hurricane Milton evacuations. Of course, his breed mix is just our best guess. Lance loves running zoomies around the large yard at his foster home, and he is super fast! He also loves playing with toys, wrestling with the resident dogs, and getting belly rubs! He recently attended a school function where he was friendly with everyone and every dog, including a 4 lb dog he decided to pal around with. He has a tendency to jump up when he is excited to see you, and foster mom is working with him to keep all four paws on the floor. We think he will be fine with kids over the age of 6.
