Story
Suzy Q was a very shy malnourished skinny stray that we couldn't watch starve, so we gave her food and water to help her while we tried to find out who actually owned her. No one answered the many social media and phone calls to help adopt her. She was very skidish and we couldn't actually touch her (she was so scared), but she did have 2 puppies (Luca and Rabbit now a year old). In the last 4 or 5 months Suzy has allowed us to pet her (show love to her) and has been super sweet, yet still on shy side. I'm guessing she's about 2 since she showed up 1 1/2 years ago and was young herself. I do believe her to be pregnant by one the neighborhoods male dog that hurt Luca several times (breaks my heart). We are not able to continue to take care of Suzy Q though we have tried, our health issues are interfering with the ability to do so properly. We desperately need Suzy Q and her 2 one year old pups a new home to have a safe and loving home.

Story
Rabbit (pictured on right) was a puppy stray with mom and 1 male sibling that we couldn't watch starve, so we gave them food and water to help while we tried to find out who actually owned them. No one answered the many social media and phone calls to help adopt. Rabbit is now a year old. Rabbit is sweet but a little on the shy side. We are not able to continue to take care of Rabbit (or her mom Suzy Q and also the sibling Luca) though we have tried, our health issues are interfering with the ability to do so properly. We desperately need Rabbit and the other 2 sweeties to find a new home to have a safe and loving home.

Story
Coby, a.k.a. Roadblock, is a purebred Rhodesian Ridgeback with all the typical traits; loyal, intelligent, sensitive, mischievous, strong-willed, etc...  He gets along with dogs of all sizes after a slow introduction, and loves having a playmate!  He's house trained, crate trained, loves going for walks, and wants to be close to his people as much as possible.   Coby has a neurological disorder causing an uncoordinated gait and clumsiness, but this doesn't prevent him from doing normal activities.  Smooth surfaces (like tile floors) make walking more challenging at times and he may fall occasionally, but he does not require any assistance. Coby is looking for a special family to overlook his handicap and love him for the special guy that he is!  Since he does need guidance for some activities, he will require an experienced owner who is capable and willing to continue his training.  In return, Coby will love you deeply and guard your home from all the dangers lurking about outside!November 6, 2024, 4:32 pm

Story
I found Cowboy at my job. He is so well trained so I’ve searched for his family but no luck. He was potty trained, crate trained and understands basic commands. He’s healthy and I took him to vet for shots. He’s about 18 months old “according to vet” he’s one of the best dogs I’ve ever had. He can jump a 4’ fence so I’m assuming that’s how he ended up on the streets. Cowboy loves other dogs and people but my other dog doesn’t like Cowboy or any other dogs. Cowboy loves to ride in the car and is well behaved. He would be great for a family or a comfort animal for a single person.
