All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. Story
Lady and Luna are 10 month old sisters who ideally should stay together. Lady is the more tan one with more Ridgeback in her, she is a bit larger then her sister who got more of the Rottweiler genes. Both are similar temperament, very sweet and loving showing no signs of aggression towards people or other animals. They have a lot of energy but not anymore than any other puppy. Both very healthy and up to date with everything, they have yet to be spayed. They need to be re-homed as I am moving otherwise I would never part with them. Will consider splitting them up to good homes if need be, I consider that a better option then sheltering them.

Story
Great dog just need a new home. He would really benefit from a single owner who can take him for long walks. Very loving but he has a habit of chasing our kids and knocking them over and this has been an issue so a house without young children would be better. He is not an aggressive or mean dog just has the natural instinct to want to run and catch things that are running. He really needs a person who will walk him daily and take him down trails and hikes.

Looking for a laid-back, chill companion? I’m Maggie, a 5-year-old, 58-pound Ridgeback/Aussie mix. I was given up by my owner down South and am lucky to be at Save A Dog to find my forever home. I'm a mellow, calm, and quiet dog. My favorite thing to do is to lie in the sun, and I love a comfy bed. My foster says I’m the easiest dog she has ever fostered and so well mannered. I’m crate trained, but I don't really need a crate; I don't get into your stuff. Like I said, really well behaved. I know how to walk on a leash, but I don't need long walks. I get along well with children but am too mellow to be much of a playmate -- visiting grandkids would be great. I'm very gentle. I know I don't look like a Ridgeback, but I have the cowlick all the way down my back, and I have a naturally bobbed tail like an Australian Shepherd. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. Georgia! Georgia is a sweet girl around 3 years old. She is heartworm negative, ok with other dogs(does like to be the dominate one). Ignored the cats. She weighs around 45#s.
