I’m about 4 years old and a beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix with brains and personality to match my looks! I’m a very well-behaved dog with great house manners and a big heart. I already know lots of commands including sit, stay, down, come, shake, roll over, and more — I absolutely love learning and showing off my skills! I’m also crate trained and leash trained, and I do great with handling for brushing, baths, nail trims, and ear cleaning. I enjoy: 🐾 Long walks (twice daily is best for me!) 🎾 Playing tug and chasing my ball 🛏 Cozy beds, blankets, and even sharing your bed ❤️ Being close to my people and soaking up affection I’m great with other dogs, older kids, and women, and I can be selective with some men at first — but with patience and trust, I warm up nicely. This gorgeous girl has done an incredible job raising her nine puppies, and now it’s her turn to be loved and cared for. Lovely is a shy, sensitive soul who takes time to trust—but when she does, she bonds deeply. We don't exactly know what her breed is, but she is gorgeous and extremely strong. Lovely prefers women but has slowly learned to trust certain men with patience and consistency. We don’t know what her past holds, but it’s clear that she’s been through a lot. She deserves a safe, understanding home where she can finally just be someone’s dog. Lovely must be the only pet in the home—no other dogs, no dog parks, and no playdates. She’s extremely loyal and protective of her person, and she takes her job seriously. If you enjoy hiking or daily walks, she’ll gladly come along, but she’ll be on alert as your tiny, furry bodyguard. I'm a lovebug that enjoys getting lots of pets and attention from human friends! I was in play group at the shelter and have fun playing with other dogs, but I much prefer attention from people! I would love an active home that takes me on walks and maybe even hikes! I am a younger gal that has lots of love to give and plenty of energy to burn. You can meet this animal at our Everyday Adoption Center in the Petsmart at 286 W. Lake Mead Pkwy in Henderson. We are open from 10am to 6pm. We do not hold animals so please get there as soon as you can.
