Looking for a laid-back, chill companion? I’m Maggie, a 5-year-old, 58-pound Ridgeback/Aussie mix. I was given up by my owner down South and am lucky to be at Save A Dog to find my forever home. I'm a mellow, calm, and quiet dog. My favorite thing to do is to lie in the sun, and I love a comfy bed. My foster says I’m the easiest dog she has ever fostered and so well mannered. I’m crate trained, but I don't really need a crate; I don't get into your stuff. Like I said, really well behaved. I know how to walk on a leash, but I don't need long walks. I get along well with children but am too mellow to be much of a playmate -- visiting grandkids would be great. I'm very gentle. I know I don't look like a Ridgeback, but I have the cowlick all the way down my back, and I have a naturally bobbed tail like an Australian Shepherd.
