Story
Quinn!     DOB: 12/2020     Weight: 50lbs   Quinn has been in our care for 10 months now. She’s a medium sized, young mix breed. Believed to have some Black Mouth Cur in her among other things. Quinn loves being showered with kisses and head rubs. Good with kids and adults alike. She often comes off heavy with other dogs, but does do well with others. Just needs a proper introduction and time to adjust. She loves food and treats! Teaching her should be easy since she’s so food driven. Knows how to sit and takes handouts nicely. Very curious about everything. This sweet gal needs a family that will give her plenty of playtime and will take her on walks throughout the week. Quinn is believed to be house trained as she previously lived in a home. She was surrendered as she was just too much energy for someone with mobility issues. She does have a prey drive and has not been fond of cats and itty bitty dogs. Her adoption fee is $175. That helps us to cover worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip. We offer a 2-3 week trial. If for some reason it does not work out, you’ll be refunded $100 of your fee. If interested in adopting her please fill out an application on our NEW website. https://www.newliferescues.org . If you have issues, send us a message through our Facebook. Came to shelter 12/2022. ***YOU MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION BEFORE WE DO ANY MEET AND GREETS. QUESTIONS? Story
Rapala!   DOB: 8/2017   Weight: 55lbs Rapala is a friendly 6.5yr old Catahoula who sports one gorgeous coat! She was surrendered by her owner recently along with another dog. Her owner said both are all around good dogs. Do well with other dogs, people friendly. Rapala is quiet in her kennel here and walks decent on the leash. She's a little shy and takes a bit to warm up but is sweet once past that. Her adoption fee is $175. That helps us to cover worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip. We offer a 2-3 week trial. If for some reason it does not work out, you'll be refunded $100 of your fee.
