Barrett is 4 years old (Est DOB 6/27/2020) and weighs 70 lbs. He's loyal to the bone and loves to be besides his person. He's sweet but prefers women rather than men and is protective of his human and his home. He listens well and is always eager to please. Barrett is low to medium energy, meaning he enjoys walks but also doesn't mind hanging around all day and being a couch potato. Barrett is good with other dogs upon proper introduction. He would do best in a home with no kids or older kids only. He LOVES the water. He loves walks. He loves car rides. He's completely house trained and crate trained. He's just waiting for the perfect person to adopt him so he can be your perfect companion.

Herc (Hercules) is a wonderful spry Senior pup in our fold here at Freedom Rescue. He is a Big Boy, but so loving and gentle. He loves nothing more than to sit with you for some loving, take nice walks, go camping with you, or whatever you like to do. You would never guess this boys age, as he acts like a 3-5 year old pup! He loves people, has been around cats, chickens, livestock and other dogs. He was attacked by 2 dogs at one point, facilitating his move to a senior resident, who unfortunately could no longer keep him in her very small place. He is a true love bug, adjusts to new situations well, and truly is just a true love bug. Won't you open your home to this wonderful dog?

08/01/24 12:23 dog is stiff and scared. Ok to slowly/ cautiously handle him.08/09/24 09:33 doing much better, clean and quiet in kennel. I placed him with a young male dog and they both did well together instantly.08/14/24 10:30 due to overcrowding in the shelter, kenneled with another pet of similar size. Both are doing well, no aggression seen from either.08/15/24 13:05 happy boy, easy to care for .09/14/24 11:30 Took him out to play yard for pictures and a video. Video sent out for social media networking pages. He`s easy to leash and walk by the other dogs. Wanted to meet many of them. Showed no aggression. Nice boy but wasn`t to interested in interacting with me. Needs time to before becoming best friends.10/17/24 11:26 dog has been at the shelter for an extended amount of time. He kennels well, well behaved and is doing good with his kennel mate (A536033) . They wrestle and sleep together. I had them both out in the play yard for exercise. Silly happy playful boys.10/22/24 13:53 Dog is doing a little better now, he lets me pet him through the kennel without issues. He gets along with dogs just fine.. He has been kenneled with a few different dogs he doesnt know well and does great. He is quiet and seems mature.
