If you are hoping to adopt an active boy, look no further than Chance! Chance thinks he is a lap dog but he is an amazing running companion. On walks, Chance greets all of our neighbors with enthusiasm and tail wags, shouts and murmurs of enthusiasm! He is house trained, a great sleeper through the night, and doesn't chew on furniture! He has been very calm, patient and loving with children as well! Chance would do well in a single-pet household that can give him lots of affection, exercise and a steady routine. He seems to be territorial about sharing his indoor space with other dogs, even though he is super friendly when out on walks. He has great endurance for walking and running. He is laughably terrible at playing fetch but still loves to run around and play. Chance is quick to learn and has picked up a new trick in just a few days with us! He would be a champ with a little obedience training. Chance is eager to please, loves praise, and is very treat motivated. He has big puppy energy and a big loving heart. We really hope he lands a home son with a yard, perhaps a playmate.... Come meet Chance and fall in love!

Say hi to Truffle, a tasty little morsel. She is a little shy at first, mostly because we think she’s a little overwhelmed in the shelter with all of the other dogs barking. Once she gets outside, she turns into a playful puppy. Truffle loves to walk and will give you play bows, even on leash. She also loves to run and jump, though she doesn’t really seem to know what to do with toys. Truffle also might be a dog who could dig for truffles – she really likes to sniff. She’s a young girl who will enjoy engaging in training, walking, running, really anything you want, as long as you’re with her. She seems to bond quickly and will make a very loyal companion to her lucky adopter.

Holly is a 15month-old, 42-lb girl who is even tempered and mild mannered but very affectionate with people and dogs. She will probably be around 45-50 lbs when she is fully grown. She was found in a box with 4 siblings with children who were trying to find someone who would take them so our foster did. Holly lives with large and small dogs and does well with them. She is training on a leash currently but is pretty easy going so learning well. She is affectionate and sweet. She is waiting for her family to find her and bring her home. Because of her color and height she could have some Dachshund and/or Vizsla in her because she is low to the groundso definitely a mix with something else.
