Story
Galaxy is an 1-year-old female Catahoula/Pit mix who has already been spayed.  She was found in a neighborhood out in the county and no owner came looking for her.  Galaxy is such a beautiful dog.  Her coat is gray with black and white markings; and she has one gorgeous blue eye; and her other eye is past blue and part brown!  She weighs 51 pounds so she is a big girl.  Galaxy is active, playful, and would need to have a securely fenced yard where she could play.  This spunky girl would be fine with other dogs and older children.  Galaxy has been on quite the adventure to end up at PAHS.  She was clearly well taken care of somewhere; and now she is well taken care of at PAHS.  It is time for Galaxy to have a new home and a loving family.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  January 9, 2026, 3:00 pm
