Fergi and Fetti (her mom) were taken from a local hunter, due to inadequate conditions. They are very sweet, but have never lived inside a home. Story
Sweet McKinley is a one-year-old Beagle/Hound mix with a heart of gold and the gentlest soul. This beautiful girl has had a rough start and is now looking for a loving home where she can recover and thrive. Recently, McKinley tested positive for heartworm and Lyme disease, and she needs a safe, quiet place to rest and recover during her heartworm treatment. Whether you're interested in fostering or adopting, McKinley would love to find someone with patience, kindness, and a calm environment to help her blossom. While very shy, McKinley’s sweetness shines through once she feels safe. She needs someone who can go slow, give her space, and allow her to build trust at her own pace. With gentle care, McKinley will reward you with love and loyalty. McKinley’s Highlights: - Spayed, microchipped, and on monthly preventatives - Needs a foster or adoptive home to recover from heartworm treatment - Very sweet but requires a slow and patient approach - Would do best in a calm and quiet home If you think you could be the safe haven McKinley needs, please reach out to us. Your love and patience could be the turning point in this sweet girl’s life. Help McKinley find the comfort and care she truly deserves! 💕

Story
Honey is is almost 6 years old, has no bite history, is crate trained, house trained, and does well on a leash. She will let you inspect her paws and mouth and ears without any aggression, she is extremely gentle. She is surprisingly quiet and does not bark at other dogs or passerby’s etc. She has been great with children and loves people. She gets excited to see other dogs but usually loses interest in them after a few sniffs. She has done well during periods of staying with family members and their dogs. She does not like cats. She is food motivated, a counter surfer. She will whine for the first 30 minutes of a car ride and then sleep the rest of the way (9 hrs with stops!). She will use the bathroom in the yard and on a leash. She sleeps through the night in her crate, is not afraid of loud noises, and will tolerate bath time. She has some seasonal allergies and I have her on an OTC daily allergy pill. I have a GPS collar/subscription, crate, and a dog food vault for her new home.
