Story
Introducing Adorable Sami Meet Sami, a delightful 1-year-old spayed female, a charming mix of Redbone and Harrier. This sweet girl was discovered as a stray and ended up in an overcrowded animal shelter, where, sadly, no one came forward to claim her, and there was little adoption interest. Despite being placed on the euthanasia list due to limited space and no reclaim, Sami's fate took a positive turn when she was transferred to our rescue. Sami is a joy to walk, settles well in her kennel, adores toys and affection, and is an absolute love bug. Not only is she friendly with both dogs and cats, but she also enjoys playful interactions with them. The mystery of how Sami ended up abandoned is perplexing, but what's clear is that this sweetheart is in need of a forever family committed to providing her the love and care she deserves. Sami has been fully vetted, spayed, and is now ready for a new home. If you feel a connection with this endearing girl, please visit our website at https://serendipityanimalrescue.org for more information or to submit an application.

Story
This beautiful girl needs a home URGENTLY. She came into rescue after she was dropped off in a small town in TN. People were threatening to shoot her, so a good Samaritan brought her in to be fixed and see if we could find her a good home. He is fostering her for us while we look but we would like to move fast as this dog is such a good girl and she deserves the best home! Bonnie is very sweet, eager to learn and wants so much to please you. She even smiles at you when you talk to her. She is getting along fine with the kids and dogs at her foster. We got all her shots up to date, spayed her and got her microchipped so all she needs now is a family! Please consider adopting this gorgeous girl. Just click on the big black button to "Ask About Her" Bonnie is currently in TN but the transport to your area is included in your fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Howdy chums, it’s me, Laith! I am a short, fat Redbone Coonhound mix, who weighs about 55 pounds and I'm about 6-7 years old. Dangit, I’m ready for my forever home. After living in the shelter and in a foster home forever, I declare that it’s high time for me to curl up on my forever couch and chew on some of those tasty forever bones and toys. I’ve come a heck of a long way from my shelter days. My foster mom’s been showing me all kinds of house dog stuff and I’m proud to say that I’m not only house trained, but I’ve got great inside manners. I don’t crate all that well but friend, you don’t even really need to crate me; I mostly like to curl up and sleep while you’re gone. Now, I’ve gotta be honest- if you try and man handle me, I will be growly and grumpy (so please don’t pull me off your couch). However, if you got a treat and some kind words, I’ll do just about anything for you; all this simple hound needs is a little kindness and some bribery. After living in a great foster home with fenced yards and other dogs, I’m confident that I’d do best in a home with a fenced yard and another dog. My favorite things in the world are car rides and playing with other dogs. So if you’re looking for a copilot to keep that passenger seat toasty, buddy, you’re looking at me! A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Laith, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other "slow to adopt" dogs! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. Story
EJ is a fun, young hound. He needs someone active, with a big outdoor life that will take him on adventures. He is affectionate and loyal to those who show him love. He would prefer to be the only dog as he doesn't like to share. He is not good with cats or other smaller animals or small people. He really wants to be a working dog.   For more info about EJ and our adoption process please enclose your phone number with your inquiry or call Jacki at 941-587-4612. September 4, 2024, 1:12 pm
