Story
Clifford, a handsome BIG RED DOG, is a Redbone Coonhound mix, about 1 year old and weighs 68 pounds. He is neutered, utd on vaccinations, HW negative, on preventatives and microchipped! He is a friendly guy who plays well with dogs and sturdy, older children (he would probably knock over the little ones). Because of his breed, he's a little too interested in cats. He still thinks he is a puppy so he'll need someone who will continue working with him on behavior and leash walking. A fenced yard (appropriate for his size) and vet reference are required. We adopt in the DFW area only (within 1 hour's drive from Terrell) as we deliver our dogs to their new homes.

Story
This delightful and handsome boy is Jax, a stray that arrived on 8/31 at the Mesquite Animal Shelter. He weighs 74 pounds, is approx 3 years old and is neutered. My Dog Scanner app suggests Rhodesian Ridgeback or Redbone Coonhound in his mix. The $64,000 question is "Why has his owner not come looking for him?" He looks as though he's been well cared for. He is an enthusiastic tail-wagging, sweet-natured fellow. Jax seems confident, trusting and well adjusted. He knows the sit, paw and down commands. He walks beautifully on a leash. He did his business in the yard. He is well mannered with a moderate activity level. Jax is a boy "on the move!" He loves treats and will sit for them for as long as a human friend will dispense them! Jax is amiable, more than happy to be petted and is willing to receive loving attention. Have I convinced you what an amazing fellow this is and what a devoted and loving companion he would make some fortunate person or family? Jax has no interest whatsoever in living his life in someone's backyard. He is a very sociable fellow and wants to live full-time inside with his people!

Story
BOUT ME: Hi! My name is MiMi, and I am looking for a forever home! My ideal home will be a single person or a couple, with no children, cats, or other animals. I am about 9 years old, a gorgeous redhead, and medium-sized. They say I have oodles of personality. I love going for walks and dressing up in my coats. I am very talkative once I know you. I enjoy going on car rides but will need a seatbelt or crate because I like to sit on laps when driving. When Ms. Bekki rescued me, I had a huge hematoma in my ear, skinny and heartworm positive, and growth on my back. But no worries! Ms. Bekki made sure I was taken care of! The ear that had the hematoma now flops over, but it’s healthy now! I was treated for heartworms and on monthly heartworm preventative. The growth on my back was removed and come to find out it was caused by a flea allergy, but I don’t have fleas anymore! YEAH!!! And I am a healthy weight thanks to daily meals and snacks! I do love my Nudges! I can’t wait to meet my forever hoomans! ##1378491##
