Story
Chief is such a good boy! A mixed breed coonhound I got from the shelter at 9 weeks. He’s now 11 months and it’s so hard for me to admit, but I’m just not the best home for him. I live in an apartment alone and work 12 hour shifts and it’s just not the best for Chief. He’s needs a fenced yard to run around and really needs a home with a second dog to play with or kids or atleast someone home more than I can be. He’s trained and he’s done day care and the dog park at my apartment and hasn’t met a dog he doesn’t love. My bff has a 5 year old so he has also proven he’s great with kids. It will be selfish of me to keep him when I know he can be in a better home than I can provide. I will only surrender to the perfect home for him since I already love him. Thank you!

Paul: 75 lb Treeing Walker Coonhound boy, neutered, HW negative, UTD on all shots and preventions. House trained, crate trained. Paul is your quintessential coonhound pal, who is one big dopey baby- Saved from a high kill rural Virginia shelter literally JUST in time, he is enjoying life on a couch in his foster home, sharing the house with a one year old human and his parents. He gets along great with the other dogs in the home. Paul loves cuddling with his family in the bed, and definitely has a sense of humor! He likes toys and playtime in the yard. He is obsessed with dog TV shows and couch lounging. He particularly enjoys watching dog shows and football. Paul is house trained, neutered, and up to date on all shots and preventions. Email Jennyfiddle@yahoo.com and tell us a bit about your household, hound and dog experience, and how you will accommodate Paul into your home. We will send you a link to an adoption application/survey. Please email jennyfiddle@yahoo.com and Hannah's Hounds and let us know a little about yourself and how you will accommodate Paul into your home.

Story
MOONPIE: 4 year old female foxhound, spayed, HW negative, UTD on shots and preventions Moonpie is an absolute doll! She gets along with dogs, cats, and people. At 40 lbs, she is very small, pretty, and dainty, but don't let that fool you! She is actually a bit of a Tom Boy! She loves to play, and is pretty athletic, so she would benefit from having a fenced in yard. She is extremely cuddly, and she is ready to sleep right next to you in your bed, or in her own bed or couch. She loves toys, but her very favorite thing is leash walks with her human. She is crate trained, leash trained, and houstrained. She is an introvert/extrovert, and is a quiet and independent dog, who enjoys both play time as well as alone time. She will go in her crate, even with the door open. We see Moonpie in a home with a somewhat active owner and a fenced yard. Please send an email to Jennyfiddle@Yahoo.com (Hannah's Hounds) and let us know a little about yourself, your home's setup, members, and routine, and how you would accommodate Moonpie into your household. We will send you an application link!

Story
Goofy Gus was hanging out in a shelter just north of Nashville, where his chances were looking a bit slim. He is now fully embracing cozy house life at his foster's house in Nashville, where he gets to sing along with all the other musicians in town. He is a big Cadillac of a coonhound, weighting in around 70 lbs.. A large, dopey, goofy boy, he has the BEST puppy dog sad eyes and face, but he quickly waggles his whole body and gives his humans grunts, smiles, and kisses. He is literally the cuddliest coonhound we have ever been around.... He walks GREAT on a leash and would love to explore both city and woods on leash with you. Gus also loves to lay around in the sun and shade, but would love an active family who has a large 6 ft fenced in yard. Please email jennyfiddle@yahoo.com and introduce yourself- please tell us about your household and how you plan to accommodate Gus into your household. We will forward you an application link.
