Is not a couch potato so please understand he will need proper exercise if a fenced yard is not a option. He is/was crate trained and house trained. He has been in boarding and may need a refresher. Although, hes been excellent there as far as holding it for potty times.

Story
Are you looking for a ride or die snuggle buddy? Well look no further. Bruno is a redbone coonhound looking for his fur-ever family. This handsome weirdo is WONDERFUL with other dogs and cats although he would be just as happy to be your only friend. Bruno sometimes has resource guarding issues and would do best in a home with older children. Bruno has done very well with learning all the basic house manners and leash walking. The thrill of a car ride or a leisurely stroll are the highlight of his day. He is very eager to please and does not always understand the concept of personal space and loves to throw his weight  around  your lap. Bruno does well in a kennel or left to his own devices to snuggle on a couch or cozy bed.  Bruno just needs a tender touch, space, and patience to grow and trust his new family. Once he knows he is safe, he's the biggest, loving hippo ever! Bruno has a rare medical condition called Diabetes Insipidus which is easily treated by daily medication (this is a water intake condition, not a glucose issue). Story
Rufus is what we like to call a low maintenance man. He is timid in new situations but adjusts fairly quickly. Does well with other dogs and kids, but no cats for this canine. And did we mention he is an exceptional cuddler! **This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment. Story
This happy-go-lucky stud spent a little over a month in one of our local shelters before we were finally able to bust him out. Since coming in to foster Boudin has been working hard and quickly learning all the essential house manners. He has really excelled in house training, crate training and playing well with others. Boudin spends his days running with his houndy friends and “poking” fun with the playful house cat until he’s slap tired and crashes, drifting into a very cute hound snore. Boudin is still getting used to 2 square meals a day and not having to fight for scraps but, he’s gaining excellent progress! Still a bit of a counter surfer though. We are also working hard on our basic outing manners such as least walking, sit and wait. Boudin still has a lot of puppy energy so he would do best in an active home with someone to play with (human or hound) or in a home that has room to move. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible.
