Cellar is a total sweetheart! He wants affection but isn’t sure how to ask for it and is nervous to do so. Once you get on his level he will shower you with love! Dog beds are his safe spot and he loves a good soft bed! He’s still unsure about playing with toys and other dogs, but you can tell he really wants to. He likes to watch, like he’s trying to understand the rules/steps of playing. He thrives in the companionship of another dog.

Story
I’m Bibby, a dashing Treeing Walker Coonhound/terrier mix with a big personality that will keep you always entertained.I came to the Humane Society of York County from York County Animal Services, where I had been surrendered by my owners. My estimated birth date is June 2020.Sadly, I haven’t experienced stability in my life, which can make me wary when I meet new people. I just need a little extra time to get to know you, and then you’ll find out I’m a serious love bug, very sweet and affectionate.I’m the sporty type – I love being out in nature and I love water. There’s nothing like a good hike with my people. I’m a true companion dog! (But don’t get me wrong, lounging on the couch sounds wonderful, too.)I’m a big, high-energy boy (about 65 to 70 pounds), so I would do best in a home with no small children and no other pets. I would love to have an active family that would help me manage my energy. I love to be on the go exploring, and a fenced yard would be a big plus.If you’re looking for an affectionate hunk who will always be ready for adventure with you, we need to meet!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.
