Story
Duke is a sweet dog that has an interesting story. My husband was in West Virginia 4-wheeling with my grandson. At their motel this dog was always hanging around so they asked about him. The owner of the motel said he been hanging around for months and was kinda of the neighborhood dog. Everyone fed him and watched out for him. They were afraid he was going to get hit by a car. My grandson immediately fell in love and they brought him back. My daughter was supposed to keep him but is going through a very rough divorce and has to move. My son took him in and enjoyed him right up until he was in an accident which in turn means extended time in the hospital with many surgeries ahead and intensive physical therapy. He lives alone. I can’t take Duke because of allergies. He is chipped and we tried reaching out to his former owner and he didn’t want anything to do with Duke. He did tell us Duke was a purebred red boned coon dog. Duke is a really good boy. He could be anyone’s dog
