Meet Rusty, the lovable goofball who's always ready to bring a smile to your face! This sweet boy has a heart full of love and a playful spirit that will brighten your day. Rusty absolutely adores tennis balls-he could play fetch all day if you'd let him-and his favorite thing in the world is romping around in the water, splashing and having the time of his life. He's not just about play, though. Rusty also has a tender side and loves to cuddle up with you after a day of fun. Rusty is incredibly friendly, both with people and other dogs. He gets along great with his furry pals and would love to have a canine friend to play with. Whether you're out for a walk, playing fetch at the park, or just hanging out at home, Rusty is happy to be by your side, always bringing joy and companionship. If you're looking for a dog who's the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, Rusty is the one for you! He's ready to find his forever home and can't wait to meet his new family. EJ is a fun, young hound. He needs someone active, with a big outdoor life that will take him on adventures. He is affectionate and loyal to those who show him love. He would prefer to be the only dog as he doesn't like to share. He is not good with cats or other smaller animals or small people. He really wants to be a working dog.   For more info about EJ and our adoption process please enclose your phone number with your inquiry or call Jacki at 941-587-4612. October 29, 2024, 3:37 pm

Story
We are looking to rehome our Redbone coonhound. We hate to do it but he is just too territorial which causes him to get aggressive with our other male dog. We’ve have him on anxiety medication for the last year which does help a lot but he still randomly goes after our other male, it’s hard because what triggers him is our other male getting too close to us. So it’s not something we can fix. He's about 2 1/2 years old, neutered, & great with our baby. We've had him since he was 9 months old. However, his aggression with our other dog has gotten out of hand & is becoming a hazard with the baby being mobile and crawling now. He loves to be outside but we have to keep a training collar on him because he will catch the scent of something and run. We also have a run set up outside for him that he enjoys hanging out in. He's a good boy and just wants to make his humans happy. He would be great in a single dog home.

These pups are in Cincinnati, Ohio too!

Story
Feb 24: Fern has been in rescue since 2021! She needs a home! She needs 6' fencing and a playmate. She is now almost 5 years old and has calmed down quite a bit. She loves toys and laying in the sun. She is crate and house trained. She runs laps in the yard and then hangs out. Fern still needs some leash work, but she does walk on a leash. She does fabulous at Lowes and Home Depot on her weekend outing. She knows no strangers and gets wiggly with new people. Feb 22: All Fern's hair is back! she looks great. She is a happy girl who loves to stay active, she does best with bigger dogs and is a big player. She would do best in an active family, with a fenced yard and playmate. She will be a great family member. Fern is from a shelter in KY. She was being treated for mange. All her treatments are complete and her hair is growing back!!
