Aaron Pawdgers, a 6-year-old hound, is ready to tackle life with you and bring endless joy to your home! This sweet, goofy, and gentle guy has got all the right moves, whether it's following his nose to find a snack or hopping around in excitement when he sees his favorite people! Aaron is the kind of teammate you want on your side—loyal, affectionate, and always ready to play. He’s food motivated, which makes him an MVP for training, and he’s got a nose for finding success (or just the best-smelling dinner). His favorite times of day? Breakfast and dinner, of course! And while he’s not a fan of cold weather, Aaron stays active and loves a good run on the field (or in your backyard). Why Aaron’s the Top Draft Pick: Sweet and gentle: Aaron has been a total champ with people and dogs alike—no aggression here, just pure love. Food-fueled energy: He’s highly motivated by food, so teaching him manners is a breeze (especially when you use snacks as the playbook)! Active and playful: Aaron loves being on the move, but he’s also down for a couch touchdown after a fun day. Goofy personality: Aaron’s funny little hops when he’s excited will have you cracking up every time. Loves affection: He’s looking for a forever home with a lot of team spirit—someone who will shower him with love, attention, and a few belly rubs along the way! What Aaron Needs to Win: Patience and love: Aaron is ready to level up in his training, so a patient, loving owner who is willing to work with him on leash manners and potty routines will be key! A doggy sidekick or two: Aaron loves his canine teammates and would do best in a home with other dogs for companionship. A fenced yard: He’s ready to run the play and get some exercise in the backyard! No cats, please: He’s curious about cats but hasn’t quite figured out that they aren’t part of his team. A household with dogs or kids would be ideal! Fun Fact: Aaron is a nosey guy, and his curiosity often leads to funny and quirky moments you’ll have to see to believe! He’s also an expert at tearing up toys, especially if they’re fun to shred. And did we mention his hops? They’ll have you in stitches! Ready to Call the Play for Aaron? If you're ready to add an affectionate, goofy, and playful hound to your family, Aaron Pawdgers is ready to be your MVP! Whether you’re looking for a cuddly couch buddy or an active playmate, Aaron is here to score big in your life. Don't wait—this hound is touching down in your heart the moment you meet him! Adoption Fee: $250.00 **Included:** - Neutered - Up to date on all vaccines - Microchipped - Heartworm Treated Adoption Requirements: Home visits required and non-negotiable Adoptable through: The London Sanctuary Fostered in: Pearson, GA (but can be brought to Jax, FL easily)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 2, 2025, 10:21 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Gravy – The Adorable Cuddle Monster Who Won’t Let You Sleep Alone! Looking for a dog who’s as loyal as your favorite pair of sweatpants? Gravy is your guy! This 14-week-old (as of 3/6/25) hound mix (weighing in at about 17 lbs of pure cuteness) is ready to follow you everywhere – literally, everywhere. If you think you’ve got enough room in your life for an incredibly sweet, fun, and slightly clingy companion, Gravy might just be the perfect fit! Personality: Gravy is like the dog version of your best friend who always wants to hang out. He’s an expert at sitting still and watching (because you’re obviously the most interesting thing in the room). When he’s not looking at you with those big, soulful eyes, he’s curled up next to you, because he’s pretty sure sleeping anywhere but near you is just not an option. He’s a professional cuddler and is ready to be your snuggle buddy, 24/7. Training & Behavior: Gravy is like a model student when it comes to listening and wanting to please. He knows “sit,” comes when called, and is working on his potty training with no accidents—he’s even got the bells down! He’d make the perfect first-time dog for anyone because he’s so eager to learn. He's got some leash manners to work on, but hey, walking in a straight line is overrated, right? He's more about the journey... and the treats! Health & Care: Gravy is as healthy as a hound can be—no health issues to report. He’s been enjoying his meals of American Journey Salmon and Sweet Potato (yum!) and is up to date on his flea and heartworm prevention. Ideal Home: Gravy is a true companion who will want to stick with you through thick and thin. He’s great with dogs and kids (but may be a little too much for grumpy older dogs—he’s just a happy guy!). If you’ve got a cozy couch, a comfy bed, and an active lifestyle, Gravy would love to join you on hikes, walks, and pretty much any adventure. He’s also convinced that matching outfits and a bed in every room are the keys to happiness, and honestly, we’re not going to argue with him. Fun Fact: Gravy has big dreams. He might want to stay small forever (he's already working on that) but also thinks agility training, guard dog work, or even being a service dog could be in his future. He’s definitely got the potential for greatness… and a bit of goofiness. Gravy's ready to settle into his forever home, but only if you're ready for the snuggles, laughs, and some serious companionship. Don't let this adorable little shadow slip away! **PLEASE READ** Foster to Adopt option is ONLY available to LOCAL adopters in Northeast Florida at this time. ** IMPORTANT!! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Potato – The Sunbathing, Zoomie-Loving Hound Mix! Looking for a goofy, affectionate companion who will brighten your days? Potato is your guy! At just 14 weeks old and weighing around 20 pounds, Potato is a young hound mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. Personality: True to his name, Potato loves lounging in the sun and turning into a total couch potato when it’s time to relax. But don’t let his chill nature fool you—Potato gets the puppy zoomies and is all about WWE-style playtime with his foster brother. When he's not playing, you’ll find him giving sweet kisses and cuddles. He's affectionate, friendly, and ready to be your best buddy! Training & Behavior: Potato is well on his way to being a well-mannered pup. He knows basic commands like "sit," and he’s working on his crate training and bell training for potty breaks—he’s had no accidents with timely breaks. Potato has a little bit of energy to burn, so he's looking for someone to continue his training and socialization. His love for crocs and rain boots is legendary, and he’s very eager to explore new things with his humans. Health & Care: Potato is in excellent health, with no known health issues. He’s been on a great diet of American Journey salmon and sweet potato and is currently on a regular flea and heartworm preventative. Leash & Walks: While Potato enjoys walks and has done well at events, he still needs a little bit of work on his leash manners at home. He’ll need a patient adopter who can help him fine-tune his walking skills. Ideal Home: Potato will thrive in a home with someone who can provide him with training, exercise, and lots of love. He's great with other dogs and kids, so he’d be a perfect fit for a family or an active individual. He’s eager to explore the outdoors and would love someone who enjoys hiking, walks in the woods, and outdoor adventures. While he hasn’t been around cats, he’s generally friendly and playful with other dogs and people, so a slow introduction would be ideal. If you're ready to welcome a goofy, lovable hound mix into your life, Potato could be the perfect fit! Come meet him and let his sweet personality steal your heart! Adopt Potato today and bring home your new best friend! **PLEASE READ** Foster to Adopt option is ONLY available to LOCAL adopters in Northeast Florida at this time. ** IMPORTANT!!
