Story
Meet Hazel, an 8 month Hound mix puppy. Hazel is slow to warm up to people but is the sweetest and gentlest dog. I’ve never had a dog take a treat from my hand more gently than this pup. She’ll also make you smile with her goofy play. It’s adorable to watch her surround herself with all the toys in the house and then suddenly pounce on one. Hazel is currently staying in Denver with her foster mom and doggo sister. Hazel gets along great with other dogs. Due to her shyness, children would likely need a slow introduction, but her sweet nature would make her an amazing companion. With consistent training and socialization, she will surely become a well-behaved and well-mannered dog. She is making progress everyday but still needs consistent practice. Hazel will do best in a home with another dog or with someone who is home more often than not. Please apply to learn more about her.
