Story
Bob is a 4-1/2 years-old Treeing Coonhound, weighing about 50 lbs. He is a happy camper and goes with the flow. He has the best social skills and friendly to everyone he meets, dogs and people. Boone walks well on a leash on the left side of his person and can walk 3 to 5 miles a day so he would like a new family that will walk him. He is housetrained and crate trained and would love a fenced yard to spend time in. He is just a happy and laid-back guy. It doesn't hurt that he's handsome too! He would be a great addition to any family. You can apply on line at www.hsvawl.org by completing the Adoption Application on the home page.November 5, 2024, 5:20 am

Story
Honey is a sweet and playful 1-year-old American Foxhound mix with a sunny disposition. She loves basking in the backyard, soaking up the sun, and her favorite activity is going on walks—she’s a pro on the leash! When she’s not exploring on her walks, Honey enjoys doggie daycare, where she has a blast playing with her friends and comes home happily exhausted. Highly intelligent and eager to please, she’s always excited to learn new commands and show off her skills. Although Honey would love to cuddle in bed with you, she’s well-trained to sleep on her own bed in a separate room, settling in easily at night. While she’s crate-trained, she does great outside the crate and would thrive in a home with a big, fenced yard to run around in. Honey is a social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with other dogs—she wouldn’t mind having a furry sibling or two. This affectionate, full-grown young pup will win you over with her gentle nature and those captivating brown eyes!
