Story
Meet Tina! She is a 1 year old rat terrier/heeler mix rescued with her mom, sister and younger siblings after being dumped in a bad area of town. She is very submissive and a little shy at first but wants she warms up she loves belly rubs! She get's that from her mom! She is great with other dogs of all sizes but prefers medium and small dogs. The bigger dogs make her a little nervous. She is working on leash walking, potty training and crate training. She is currently 23 lbs with long legs. She is just a sweet girl looking for love and a place to lounge around! Tammy is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport. An adoption application and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. If you would like more information please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com. An adoption application can be completed online at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SGDR/Dog Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. Story
Hello! My name is Stella! You may remember me from a while back. I have unfortunately been in and out of the shelter a handful of times in the last two years for one reason or another. I have not been able to catch a break or find my true forever home! I really think now that I'm back again, this next home is going to stick! I am really not all that high maintenance. I have a decent amount of energy, but nothing that a little playtime can't fix! I am not much of a walker though - I have what's called a luxating patella which essentially means that my kneecap moves around in it's socket. Sometimes I will start to limp, but for the most part, it doesn't seem to bother me too much. I just may want to be carried around like the little princess I am! I also do have some vision impairment, but that doesn't seem to slow me down either. I do tend to get overwhelmed while walking on a leash, both when seeing dogs and seeing people. I don't always get along with strangers either, so a quiet home that doesn't see much traffic in and out would be perfect for me! I have also lived with another dog in the past, but many dogs I have a hard time getting along with. I do need a quiet home, so I'd prefer a home without children as well because of that. Do you think you could give me my happily ever after that I've been waiting for so long to have? I'd love to meet you! Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 28 Age: 4yrs 10mths 0wks
