With the cold winter coming soon, Adogs was very concerned about the health of Dari and her babies, so we urgently rescued them. * With People: She's a great lover of people! She's very accepting of touch and gives her face to both familiar and strangers alike. * With Dogs: She gets along great with doggy friends at Adogs Center. * Car Sickness: She rides in the car very well with no car sickness. ** Health Status - Her medication for her skin disease is over, but she still needs to take a bath every two weeks to monitor her progress. It's not contagious! - Her fur is growing back after losing it due to her skin disease.

Debonair 11-year-old Jax is an active and smart boy who will be a wonderful companion for the right family! Jax is a 25 lb. rat terrier. He is in excellent physical condition after beating cancer (a mast cell tumor on his belly). Jax loves sunning himself, walking, jogging, playing with stuffed animals, and chasing a ball. He gets along well with small dogs he's introduced to in his home environment. He has been very nice to his foster siblings but can be protective of his space and might correct another dog who touches or steps on him with a yowl and small snap. Jax would be fine as a single dog or with a respectful smaller dog. Jax should not live with cats or other small pets. He does also have a bit of anxiety which has been greatly reduced with a stable schedule and increased exercise. Jax barks at the door when he needs to go out and is perfectly housetrained. He can be trusted to be free indoors and doesn't get into the trash, counter surf, or chew items. Meet Tina! She is a 1 year old rat terrier/heeler mix rescued with her mom, sister and younger siblings after being dumped in a bad area of town. She is very submissive and a little shy at first but wants she warms up she loves belly rubs! She get's that from her mom! She is great with other dogs of all sizes but prefers medium and small dogs. The bigger dogs make her a little nervous. She is working on leash walking, potty training and crate training. She is currently 23 lbs with long legs. She is just a sweet girl looking for love and a place to lounge around! Tammy is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport. An adoption application and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. Meet Cupcake! This little cutie is such a catch! She is a friendly, playful and social girl. She loves all people, including kids, and gets along with other dogs. We have not seen her with cats but we think she may do ok with them. Cupcake likes playtime and is not a couch potato. Snuggle time is great for her as long as she gets her energy needs met too. Another dog in the home would be wonderful for her but is not a must. From her foster family: Cupcake is 150# of sweetness packed into a 15# dog. She greets everyone at the door with kisses and is immediately friends with every dog she meets. She has the energy and enthusiasm that comes with being a young pup and is always up for a walk, tug of war, playing fetch, or just bouncing around the house checking on every member of the family to see who is being the most interesting. And all that bouncing means that she wears herself out and sleeps quietly in her crate during her foster mom’s work meetings and all night long. She’s working on basic commands and potty training, which is coming along, since she is eager to please and very food motivated. Cupcake’s ideal family is active, outgoing, has lots of squeaky toys and a dog friend for her to play with, because the more the merrier! Cupcake has received her vaccinations, microchip and will be spayed soon. Her adoption fee is $525. Nipper is a wonderfully sweet, though somewhat high strung, little 13 year old dog. In spite of his age he frequently bursts out with dashes of puppy-like energy as he sprints around the yard. Most times, he’s content to curl up and chill in his crate. With his age, his sight and hearing have been on the decline and he’s very much a senior dog. He does have accidents and would benefit from a home where he is able to access the outdoors on his own. We adopted him to help out with rodent problems in our garage when we lived in the Midwest and he did an amazing job at controlling the rodent population. Sadly, with our kids growing up and the travel for work and other things increasing, we aren’t able to give him the care he deserves and could use a new family that has time to dote on him in his final years.
