Story
Energetic 3-year-old Luna spends long days alone, tolerantly resting in her crate while her humans are at work. But she yearns for a new home where she is more free to romp, run, chase critters, and play fetch, getting plenty of interaction with an active and engaging family. She's prepared to dazzle you with her repertoire of tricks, including sit, stay, paw, lie down, roll over, kissy, and spin. She'll even balance treats on her nose then toss them into the air to catch! Luna is a fun-loving, spunky girl, who is always in the mood to go on adventures, and she never fails to bring toys back to keep a game of fetch going.  After she has tired you out, Luna's content to relax on her bed or snuggle up beside you for a nap, particularly if you are offering belly rubs. She's fully crate trained and house-trained but needs continued work at walking more calmly on leash. She's eager to engage with other dogs who are similarly fun-loving and energetically playful; because she's a big girl for a rattie mix (35 lbs.), other dogs who are smaller, timid, or grumpy might be annoyed by her persistent liveliness. Luna is extremely smart and highly motivated by food. She has been trained to not take treats or food unless told 'take,' and if she gets possessive over high-value treats or things she shouldn't have, she'll listen to you when you say 'leave it.' Taking her guard dog responsibilities seriously, she'll alert her humans to suspicious noises or people outside and will greet newcomers to the home with barking and jumping. After a few treats and a little time, however, she'll accept the new friends and offer them her toys. Her excitable nature and inclination to resource guard food and treats makes her unsuitable for young children. But beautiful Luna will be the perfect companion for an active and attentive household whose members spend much time at home. See more photos of Luna at www.imageevent.com/Newrattitude/luna .Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. Story
COURTESY POST: Diesel is a 5 year old, 25 pounds dog who is 1/2 Rat Terrier and 1/2 French Bulldog. Diesel was adopted a year ago. He was a neglected country dog covered in ticks, but he immediately took to having a family and a warm home. In fact, he often prefers to lounge in his crate instead of go outside. He is an excellent squirrel dog, likely from having lived outside for much of his life. Diesel is a very sweet, loving dog. He would do better in a home with children over 6. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
I present to you: Princess Buttercup! This precious four-year-old puppy mama shows all the best caring and nurturing qualities to her little ones. She's patient and affectionate with her small brood, nursing and tending to her four pups. She's equally lovable with people, too. Even while caring for her litter, Princess Buttercup still shows her energetic side. She's a high-energy lady and enjoys walks and jumping as she plays. She thrives on proteins (salmon, chicken, and steak) and dog treats and is definitely food motivated. Princess Buttercup is the perfect size to be a lap dog, and she enjoys cuddling up with the humans she's met. She'll stay close to your side as you navigate through her home. If you're searching for a dog to brighten your world, she's exactly as you wish. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. You can view all adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallaspetsalive.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/. Story
Diego is a sweet little man! He is 8 years old, and loves his daily morning bone (treat) after his walk. He is fully house trained, and does not need any crating when left alone at home. He doesnt chew or damage anything in the house, but he might try to sneak up on the couch to snuggle while youre gone :) The reason he needs to find a new loving owner is because my apartment complex is threatening eviction due to my neighbor complaining about Diego barking when I am not home. The barking only lasts 15-20 minutes when I leave, but they are hyper sensitive and continue to file complaints, leading to this situation. I will lay out all the difficulties about Diego to be fully transparent: hates getting his nails cut, doesnt like water (but willingly allows baths with warm water even though hes not happy about it), when he sees a squirrel or rabbit he will pull on the leash, and gets nervous at the vet. Otherwise, he is SUCH a good dog, truly. Ask me any questions you have!

These pups are in Heath, Texas too!
