Story

Petey was adopted at 6 months from a prior owner. He is now 9 years old. He currently resides with a golden retriever and does great with her. His attitude towards other dogs varies depending on the dog. He has food and toy preferences but has done well with our dog and other family members dogs. He would do best in a home without kids. He has not physically bitten or drawn blood on anyone before but he has growled when bothered. He is territorial to the couch and shows slight aggression with food and toys and being put in the kennel. We also have a cat in the house. Because of his breed (terrior) he is prone to chase her and not let her roam but has never been aggressive. He is extremely sweet and well trained dog. Fully potty trained and goes where asked. He's loving but he's getting older and has shorter tolerance to our home with young kids. We would love to see him find a home with someone who doesn't have kids and can give him patience and love!

Crumpet is a little spitfire full of spunk and energy with just enough snuggle to be a perfect family companion. She loves to play with toys and especially likes chasing her fur friends around. She is a very outgoing and confident girl who likes to initiate play. She will need another dog friend in her new home to play with and learn from. She is doing great with going potty on a pad and is working on going outside. She’s just 12 weeks old and will need a family who can give her consistent training. She’s very smart and will master her skills in no time! A fenced yard would be best for her as she is not leash trained, and because of her love for running and exploring. She’s a little girl, we are guessing she may be 35 lbs full grown, but that is just a guess. We have no idea what breed mix she is, she’s just a cute, soft and sweet mutt! After a good romp around with her fur friends, Crumpet will snuggle up for love and belly rubs with her people. She will be a wonderful fur friend to a very lucky family. Toast is a tiny but mighty boy who loves to be in charge! He is a funny boy who likes to gather toys, play tug-o-war and wrestle with his fur friends. He has the cutest little face you can’t help but fall in love with! He is very playful and has a lot of energy so he will need a dog friend in his new home to play with. A well trained dog friend will also help teach him dog things. When Toast is ready for snuggles he will gladly hop in your lap to cuddle with you. He is working on going potty outside and does use a puppy pad most of the time. He will need consistent training to master his skills. He’s just 12 weeks old and has just started venturing outside. Phoebe is a definite Rat Terrier mix around 3-4 years of age. She was found running at large with little Rachel in Taney Co. Missouri. She is a littel shy at first, but a super sweet girl. She does climb out of the pup pen that is 4ft tall so a secure yard for her to play in with a privacy fence would be great! She is a little alpha acting with other dogs, but does like their company.
