Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bandita was surrendered to PRBJ when her family was no longer able to care for her. She loves to be with her people and would do well with a person that worked from home or was home most of the time.  Bandita was trained to use pee-pads, so new owners will need to be diligent and work on potty training outside. A fenced yard would be ideal for her.She does not seem to like cats, and we are not sure about dogs at this point. She has had limited exposure to kids, so are recommending an adult only or older teen home to ensure Bandita feels comfortable.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 7, 2024, 5:50 pm

Story
Hello! This is Lexi - she’s about 10 years old and is very sweet! She’s always been around other dogs, cats, and little kids. She’s a little anxious and can be yappy, but is otherwise a good companion. I recently went through a divorce, followed rather quickly by a job loss and subsequent health issues. I just can’t give her the attention she needs and I don’t have the funds to take her to the vet as she gets older. I really didn’t want to take her to the shelter because of her anxiety - I don’t think she’d do well there. I’m really hoping to be able to rehome to a loving household instead. Thank you ~

Story
I adopted Bodie from a rescue in my area, he loves people and loves to run and play outdoors. He sleeps with me or in his bed and is house broken, he will go to the door when he needs to go out. The rescue staff stated he did not like to be crated, however I have been working with him and amazed at well he is learning to sleep in the crate. He walks on a leash but pulls. He is a very high energy pet and gets excited, jumping and barking. I am currently living with my parents who are in their 70s, this behavior is not easy for them. I feel it will be better for Bodie to live in a home where he can be happy and playful.
