Story
Rio came to us as an owner surrender when his family was losing their home to eviction. He was one of a number of dogs in the home that needed new homes, and we were able to take 3 of them. Rio is a friendly boy who is somewhat timid when he first meets new people or encounters new situations. He warms up quickly! There's no aggression - he's just a little scared at first.\ He loves other dogs and we would like to see him in a home with at least one other dog. He was best friends with a dog in his former home, and seems to love having a canine companion or two. He would be happy to live with children 10 years old or older. Rio is a wonderful boy who will make a great family member!

Story
Jean is quite a gal. She is a Feist mix who is just over 2-1/2 years old and weighs 40 pounds. Jean has a medium level of energy. She loves going for a good walk or run, and then settles for a nap afterward. Once she learns the rules of the house, Jean's an easy-going girl who's friendly and affectionate. She's also a smart and responsive dog who loves to learn. She likes the company of other dogs and children aged 12 and older. She has not been introduced to cats and its not know if she would get along with them.Jean is fully house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. Consistency and patience from her family will help her to maintain these important skills. The ideal home for Jean is one that has the time, energy, and desire to provide her with regular physical and mental exercise, continued socialization with people and other dogs, and lots of love. Jean is looking to be your plus-one on outdoor family outings. The adoption fee for Jean is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
