If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5. Story
🐾 Meet Parker: The Former 'Street Dog' Turned Snugglebug! 🐾For 12 + long years, Parker roamed the streets of Pittsburg, known only as 'the street dog.' No one stepped in to help&#194&#151until he was an old little guy. He survived on the kindness of one woman who fed him every day, and when she sadly passed away, Parker would sit outside her home for hours, waiting.Thankfully, one of our incredible volunteers stepped up to save him, and now, Parker is finally experiencing the love and comfort he always deserved. This sweet senior boy has learned to love the indoor life&#194&#151snuggling under the covers, lounging in the sun, and being pampered. He's an easygoing, happy couch potato who just wants a warm spot and a loving human to call his own.✅ Great with dogs & cats (he even hung out with the cats during fireworks!)✅ Loves to snuggle and play with toys, will be your best cuddle buddy✅ Mostly house-trained (may need a little patience in a new home and transitioning )✅ The perfect companion for someone looking for a low-maintenance, loving dogParker's story is one of resilience, love, and second chances. Could you be the one to give him the forever home he's waited 12 +years for? Every senior dog deserves to have their own family to love them through their senior years. We think he is likely 12-13 years old. Parker is about 15lbs and we believe he is a Rat Terrier Chi mix. We feel he would do great with gentle older kids as he warms up to everyone who gives him a little love and attention. 📍 Location: Antioch Ca📩 Apply to adopt Parker today! www.K9prr.org#AdoptParker #SeniorDogLove #RescueDog #FromStreetToSnugglesFebruary 9, 2025, 2:25 am

Story
**Meet Tucker Saturday, February 15th from 10 to 1 at Dublin Petsmart west, 6960 Amador Plaza Rd.** Tucker is a very cute, little doggie! He lives in a foster home where he gets along well with the resident, small Terrier. He has a good amount of energy, loves his walks and he's had interest in playing with a ball but not overly so. He is very content with sleeping on your bed and under the covers is even better! You barely know he is there. He sleeps through the night. Tucker is totally familiar with the doggie door and takes himself out to go potty. He's a youngster and has a few puppy tendencies: he likes to grab sneakers and slippers and run around with one. He barks when he hears something that needs woofing at and then stops. He usually spends the evenings sacked out on our sofa or armchair where he enjoys lying on the cozy afghans. Tucker is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. ## See video of Tucker at the end of the photo gallery! ## If you're interested in Tucker, you can submit an application by clicking the "Apply For Adoption box " located below his photos on the right side. Meet Hopper ❤️‍🔥🐾 Hopper is a 5yr old, 11lb, Rat Terrier/mix. Hopper is a super sweet boy. Hopper is an active fella, that likes to go for walks, likes to run and play with toys, and likes to play with other dogs. Even though Hopper has old fractures on his hind legs, that doesn’t slow him down, he is faster than any other dog here at the rescue and loves to run around and play. Hopper gets along with all dogs of all sizes and ages, but likes to chase chickens. Hopper also loves to be held and loved on. Hopper may not know many commands, but that is ok, he is treat and love motivated and will come running as soon as you call him. Love and affection is what he craves. Hopper is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date on his rabies vaccine. If you are interested in meeting Hopper, please fill out an application at www.broketailrescue.org.
