Looking for a smart, playful, and affectionate companion? Well, here’s a hint: It’s Sudoku! This 9 month old, 12-pound Rat Terrier mix is ready to solve the mystery of his forever home—could it be yours? Sudoku started off a little hesitant, like a tricky puzzle with a few missing numbers. But once he settled in, the solution was clear—he’s an absolute sweetheart! Now, he’s a snuggle champion, a dedicated lap-warmer, and a certified foot-warmer (seriously, he loves lying on your feet). He follows his people everywhere, making sure the whole “team” stays together. If someone dares leave the room, he’ll let you know that the group chat is incomplete until they return! This little guy has energy to spare and a love for adventure. His favorite activities include zooming around the yard, playing fetch, and bringing you toys with a gentle tug on your sleeve—just in case you forgot it’s playtime. He’s always up for a walk (or two…or three), though his idea of a “walk” involves a lot of sniffing, squirrel-watching, and the occasional longing whimper for a passing dog friend. Sudoku is a quick learner—he’s mastered the art of potty pads, is making great progress with housetraining, and happily settles into his crate at bedtime. He’s even conquered his initial fear of grass and now treats the backyard like his personal playground. Sudoku would thrive in an active home with kids to play with, but he’s just as happy curling up with someone who enjoys a quiet life and is looking for their final puzzle piece. He adapts easily and just wants to be wherever his person is—whether that means joining you on adventures or simply keeping your feet warm while you read a book. No matter your lifestyle, Sudoku is ready to fit right in and make every day a little brighter. Are you ready to complete the puzzle? Adopt Sudoku today and make your life a little more paw-some!Sudoku is an option for a home with lots of experience or no experience. Story
Ginny  is super sweet and playful, especially with other dogs. She's a little skittish at first and takes a little while to warm up, but once she's comfortable with you, she is sweet, a champion snuggler, and an all-around great companion. Energy Level?  Medium House trained?  Yes Describe how they are on a leash. Does well on a leash. Likes to stop and smell all the smells. Describe how they are with other dogs?     Ginny plays nice with other dogs and has lived with other dogs; however, she would do well as your one and only.   She loves all the attention. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  Ginny has been in home with a dog-savvy cat and did very well. Commands they know?  She comes when called.  What are their favorite things?  Playing with other dogs, chewing on toys and treats, and snuggling with her people. She also enjoys being outside and exploring our backyard. What do they need to work on?   Ginny  is still learning what's okay and not okay to chew. She'll need lots of toys that are safe for chewing and some patience and understanding while she figures it out.  How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  She has been alone for up to 8 hours and has been okay. She may howl briefly as we leave but then quiets down. She is generally happy in her crate and has a good view of all her foster fur siblings. Where do they sleep?  In a small crate in our bedroom. She sleeps well through the night and enjoys a morning snuggle in our bed when there's time. What is their ideal home?   Ginny 's perfect home includes at least one other similarly-sized dog because doggy playtime is her favorite thing. She'll need a family who can give her some time and space to get comfortable, as she can be pretty skittish initially. She'll also need patience as she learns what's okay to chew and what's not. Once she's comfortable with you and all settled in, she is an excellent companion and will reward you with epic snuggles and much love. Ginny should be in an adult only home. Story
🐾 Meet Parker: The Former 'Street Dog' Turned Snugglebug! 🐾For 12 + long years, Parker roamed the streets of Pittsburg, known only as 'the street dog.' No one stepped in to help&#194&#151until he was an old little guy. He survived on the kindness of one woman who fed him every day, and when she sadly passed away, Parker would sit outside her home for hours, waiting.Thankfully, one of our incredible volunteers stepped up to save him, and now, Parker is finally experiencing the love and comfort he always deserved. This sweet senior boy has learned to love the indoor life&#194&#151snuggling under the covers, lounging in the sun, and being pampered. He's an easygoing, happy couch potato who just wants a warm spot and a loving human to call his own.✅ Great with dogs & cats (he even hung out with the cats during fireworks!)✅ Loves to snuggle and play with toys, will be your best cuddle buddy✅ Mostly house-trained (may need a little patience in a new home and transitioning )✅ The perfect companion for someone looking for a low-maintenance, loving dogParker's story is one of resilience, love, and second chances. Could you be the one to give him the forever home he's waited 12 +years for? Every senior dog deserves to have their own family to love them through their senior years. We think he is likely 12-13 years old. Parker is about 15lbs and we believe he is a Rat Terrier Chi mix. We feel he would do great with gentle older kids as he warms up to everyone who gives him a little love and attention. 📍 Location: Antioch Ca📩 Apply to adopt Parker today! www.K9prr.org#AdoptParker #SeniorDogLove #RescueDog #FromStreetToSnugglesFebruary 9, 2025, 2:25 am

Story
Marlow is an amazing dog! He’s close to 7 years old but still has the heart of a puppy with the face of an old man. He always listens especially if treats or love are involved , he lived his life around cats and other small dogs but has a slight fear of bigger dogs. But that never stopped him from trying his best to be friends with everyone. He’s an amazing dog and a funny character. He would do best in a house that is full of love and space for him to stretch his legs!
