Story
How this pet arrived: Scully was brought in by a community member on February 18, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Scully! She's an energetic and spunky dog who's looking for a patient, understanding owner. Scully can be reactive towards strangers and uncomfortable with touch - we expect she'll thrive with someone without young children who's willing to be patient and take things at her pace, always respecting her boundaries. Scully is full of energy and loves to chase tennis balls! She came in with another dog, and while they've done well together, Scully has shown reactivity to other dogs on campus. She can be jumpy and a little mouthy when she's excited, so ignoring her paired with gentle redirection will be important in helping her navigate those moments. If you're looking for a dog with a lot of heart who just needs the right person to help her feel safe and loved, Scully might be the perfect fit for you! At SDHS:Scully has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is now ready for her new home! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 22.6 Age: 1yrs 6mths 2wks

Story
How this pet arrived: Mulder was brought in by a community member on February 18, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Mulder! This sweet pup is still working on getting comfortable around new people, but he's making great progress. He can be fearful and reactive towards strangers, so he's looking for a home without the hustle and bustle of young kids where he can take his time to adjust. Mulder will need patience, so it's important to let him come to you and take things slow. He can get a bit jumpy and mouthy when excited, so it's best to wait until he's calm before giving him attention-this will help him work on his manners. Mulder loves bonding over treats and playtime, so if you're looking for a dog to form a strong bond with, he could be a great fit for you! At SDHS:Mulder has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home!Shy/Fearful Dog: This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Story
Milo was rescued by my son-in-law while he was in college. He and my daughter now have two children and Milo tries to take the toddler’s food and has nipped her. They also have a cat and Milo loves the cat! He is also great with other dogs and all people EXCEPT children. He is nervous around them and anyone who tries to pick him up or treats him roughly. A couple of years ago, an adult friend of theirs was sitting on the bed, as was Milo. The friend quickly grabbed him in a “bear hug” and rolled over on the bed with him. He squealed and nipped her cheek. She needed two stitches. I now have Milo and I also have my own senior dog. I take him on little walks with us, and he’s a darling and happy little guy, but I work full time and don’t want two dogs. He really wants to be part of a family, and we want that for him too. He doesn’t want to be picked up, but craves to sit on a lap or next to someone who will pet him. He lets me bathe him and follows directions.

Story
Missy was adopted from us four years ago and was a loved member of a family, but her mom got very ill and was unable to care for her any longer. So, she is back with us and in the market for a new home! Missy is approx 9 years old now. She has long, lanky legs but only weighs 10lbs. When she initially came to us, she had no socialization and was very nervous. She will likely always be a little shy (especially with men), but she does bond with her family once she is comfortable. Even when Missy is the most scared, she has never been aggressive. She doesn't growl or even snarl, she just tries to hide. She is a sensitive soul and just needs someone to give her some time to adjust to show her true personality. Now, when her foster mom gets home, Missy runs over to greet her with a wagging tail. Missy was always really quiet and mellow with us. She isn't a big cuddler but she likes to be near you. She enjoys perching on the back of the couch and relaxing most of the day. She is happy to just hang out at home and is a really easy girl! She can be left alone for hours without any issues! Missy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She just had bloodwork and a dental so she is good to go! She is also housebroken and crate trained. She isn't super excited about toys or food, but she loves her blankets! She also enjoys walks and does well in the car. Missy gets along with dogs and cats, but would be fine being the only pet. Due to her being nervous, we think a home with no children or hyper/large animals would be best. If you're interested in meeting this sweet senior, please submit an adoption application on our website at www.dominoeffectanimalrescue.orgOctober 22, 2024, 5:04 pm

Story
Coco is a sweet shy 6 lb  but playful gentle puppy of 6 months, she has been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea/tick treated and vaccinated. Coco seems to be a Rat Terrier/Chi mix, who deserves a loving home where she will be cherished. Coco loves to play with her siblings, would do best in a home in a calm environment. Older kids and if you have another dog, that's good with puppies even better! Cute, sweet and kind this puppy got it all going and is ready for her Furever home now. For more information on Coco you can contact the foster mom Kim at 714-319-0802 or submit an adoption application to: http://greendogfoundation.com/application-for-adoption/February 2, 2025, 1:27 pm
