Story
Hello! My name is Jackie O and I am a darling, loveable Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier mix. I am 10 years old and I weigh 13.4 lbs and I’m a healthy girl who has already had a complete veterinary “once over” as well as a dental. I was found as a stray and no owner was located. I am house trained and I know how to use a doggy door. I am fabulous with other dogs and I’m sweet to every human I meet. I love going for walks and snuggling up to you, but not so comfortable riding in the car on long journeys. (I tend to shake a good portion of the ride.) I get a bit anxious when left alone, but thank goodness I am not destructive - I will go around the house looking for you and will bark, so an apartment or attached dwelling won’t be the best place for me to live. My loving foster mom reports that I am a “wonderful, happy little dog.” Am I a match for you? Gee, I sure hope so! Please apply to meet me.

Story
🧡 Hey! Look at me! I’m a 3m old, male, MinPin/Terrier mix, weighing just 6lbs, and let me start by saying this—I don’t want you to feel sorry for me because I’m deaf. Nope! In fact, I like to think of it as my superpower. Let me explain: 1️⃣ I’m an expert sleeper. Fireworks? Thunderstorms? Barking dogs? Never heard of ’em—I sleep like a champ no matter what. 2️⃣ I’m all about the vibes. Without sound distractions, I pick up on your energy and body language like a pro. Happy? Excited? Snack time? SAME! 3️⃣ I learn differently—and awesomely. While other dogs are listening to “sit” and “stay,” I’m over here mastering cool hand signals. I may need a little extra patience as I learn, but trust me, I’m worth it. I’m also potty trained (I know, impressive, right?) and get along with other dogs and cats, though I’m not overly interested in them—I just want to be your loyal little sidekick. My favorite thing? Sticking by your side, ready to take on the world together. If you’re looking for a unique, loving, and extra-special best friend, I might just be the one for you. Please apply to meet me at the link in my photo. Let’s make this official—you bring the love, and I’ll bring the superpower! BTW - the name is Shiloh! Nice to meet ya!

Story
Are you looking for a smart, easy, ready-to-go rat terrier at the perfect middle age of 10 years-old? Lucy Lu is that girl! Here we have an all-around wonderful companion who loves to play with toys, go on walks, and keep you company no matter what you are doing. She also does great with cats and could live easily in a family of multiple dogs, or as an only pet! What a dream!  Ms. Lucy is enthusiastic about maintaining her habit of leash walking in order to keep her healthy and her past issue of her back right patella in shape. She loves to run around in the yard and say 'ruff!' to the dogs walking by (or even a leaf blowing in the wind!). She is crate-trained and will hop into her crate on her own accord. Lucy is also house-trained and can be left loose at home without worry. Like many rat terriers, she can be a bit sensitive to being picked up and therefore should not live with young children. She is quick to learn and adapt and would take well to more training with positive reinforcement! This cute girl and funny girl would make an easy addition to many homes, so please don't wait to fill out an application to bring Lucy Lu into your family.  You can see more photos of her at https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/lucylu .  Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. NewRattitude.org/adopt/  From there, you can access our adoption application or contact our Adoption Team for more info. December 2, 2024, 12:21 pm

Story
Hi there, I'm Jepp! I'm still young, full of playful energy and can't wait to share it with someone special. I'm not just a bundle of fun, I'm also fiercely loyal. I might need to meet you a few times to really get to know you, but once I do, we'll be best friends for life. Since I have some resource guarding behaviors, I do need to be the only pet in the house, but I promise to fill your life with so much joy and love that you won't need anyone else. Adopting me means embracing a lifetime of adventures, laughter, and unconditional love. So, what do you say, are you ready to start our journey together? My adoption fee is $400 and includes the following: -Spay/neuter surgery -All current vaccinations -Microchip -FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals -$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market For more information about me or to schedule a meet and greet appointment, please complete an adoption questionnaire.
