Story
Stevie gets his name from guess who and why……when he originally came in he had been kept in a dog kennel because they found him walking in circles. It took one of our fosters a lot to convince this breeder to give him up. He also had a horrible upper respiratory infection that took us months to heal! For his eyes, they were often crusted over along with his nose which led to even worse breathing problems! He had trouble walking, his coat was matted horribly and he had a horrible case of mites. So we put Stevie in a very sterile clean air environment with a humidifier to heal his breathing problems. He’s not 100% yet but he’s getting there. He is running around and enjoying life. He’s gained weight and loves playing with wand toys. Which we came to the conclusion that he is visually impaired but not blind. He knows where he is going and there is no walking in circles here! He will need a special adopter who will love him for his flaws, brush him every day, and maybe wipe his eyes clear every day! He’s a special guy! You will love his will to fight and never give up!
