Ragdoll kittens & cats in Glencoe, Minnesota

I adopted Odin as a kitten from a Ragdoll breeder in Maryland back in 2020. I was immediately drawn in by his stark white coat and different colored eyes, one green one blue. We adopted him and his brother, but Odin was always my baby. He slept on my pillow every night, loved to curl up on my lap, and was always underfoot. However, when I had my first baby it changed. Odin began peeing outside the box and peeing bright red blood. The vet says it is probably intersticial cystitis - a condition triggered and exacerbated by stress. He seems to want constant attachment with me like before but is unsure of the baby, leading to stress and urinary issues. He has an “episode” of bloody pee outside the box currently once every 1-2 weeks. I am hopeful that in a home without kids, he would not have these stress induced episodes. He really is the most sweet and loving cat and always wants pets and tummy rubs. He is endlessly gentle and never bites, scratches, or hisses. He is a truly gentle soul.
