Story
Honey Girl is a long-haired white & grey female beauty with one green and one blue eye. She is possibly a Ragdoll, and likely born in 2020. Honey Girl is gentle, sweet, and loving – she purrs when stroked and brushed and shows her pleasure by making biscuits in the air! She loves wet food, catnip, and cuddling and grooming with her siblings, Percy and Brandy. She has been spayed and is up-to-date on vaccinations. In a perfect world, she would be adopted with her siblings, but she is especially bonded with Percy—they groom each other and snuggle close, especially as the days get colder. Please consider Honey Girl and Percy together! To learn more or meet Honey Girl, contact Marcia at 510-734-9924 or mslack199@gmail.com for details. This cat is considered a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cats.

Story
I adopted my cat in late 2019. She hadn't been well-cared for and came to me with fleas and an ear infection, but I nursed her back to health. Over the past five years, she's been by my side through life's highs and lows, a constant companion. She's a quiet, shy cat who always stays close while I work, providing gentle companionship. Making the decision to rehome her is incredibly painful, but with my schedule becoming increasingly demanding, I know the responsible choice is to find her a family who can give her the attention and care she deserves. She's has slight behavior issues and is most suited for adopter with some experience.

Story
Mr. Rose is a sweet, laid-back, non-aggressive Ragdoll who has been with his current family for the past 8 months. His original family, who he had been with since birth, needed to relocate to the east coast and were unable to bring him with them. He has lived with cat-friendly dogs and tolerates them, as well as an older, friendly, calm-tempered cat. His current home has a younger shorthaired Tabby female that aggressively engages with Mr. Rose. He wants no part of her unkind pestering behavior because it is causing him undue stress. His current owner realizes his sweet self deserves the quiet peaceful home he was accustomed to. We expect he will be a bit shy at first and might be slow to warm up to new people in a new environment. He will unfold in due time to reveal his docile, sweet, mellow, affectionate self. Rose likes interactive play with his toys and needs someone that will enjoy providing him with stimulating enrichment time each day. A loving quiet home where he can be a free-roaming, indoor-only kitty, with someone who is there most of the time, will be best for him. Mr. Rose loves wet canned food, cooked chicken and Kirkland dry kibble. He has perfect litter box habits using both automatic litter and standard litter boxes. He was last seen by his veterinarian in December of 2023 and has no known health concerns. He will be due for vaccine updates in October 2024. We don't know how he would be with youngsters. He will likely do well with older respectful, well mannered children 10-12 years and older, that would show him affection, enjoy engaging him in playtime and take good care of him. His owner is located 20 minutes west of Salem, Oregon from the I-5 corridor in Monmouth - his adopter(s) will need to personally meet him there. We hope you will consider how much love and comfort awaits the lucky adopter(s) for Mr. Rose. Could he be the perfect match for you? Reach out to us so we can explore that possibility! Mr. Rose is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. He currently lives with his owner in Monmouth. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Mr. Rose please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290-8408. If you are unable to reach Pam please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Story
Bee is a gorgeous 4-year-old Flame Point Ragdoll. He has his claws, and weighs around 14#. Bee came to his rescuer after his original owner’s life changed. A move into a smaller place that already had two other cats was just too much for this sweet, lovely, and sensitive boy. Since Ragdolls are known to be very mellow and easy going, it is sometimes overlooked just how sensitive to change this breed can be. His rescuer is quite fond of this initially shy and a bit timid sweet boy, but she knows it is now time for him to find a future home that will treasure and treat him well. Although Bee is currently living with a couple of small female Persian kitties without any issues, we feel that the perfect placement for this indoor only kitty will be an adult only home where he can live happily and safely as an only cat. Bee is rather a low energy kitty who is comfortable spending some quiet time by himself. He prefers higher spots to hang out on, so a cat tree would be wonderful for him. He will need someone who understands that not all cats want to be cuddled, held, and need to be attached at the hip to their owners all the time. He makes a great companion for someone who likes having the quiet presence of a docile, lower maintenance feline around, and who understands that some cats need time to unfold, trust and evolve into becoming more connected to their humans. We think this will be the case with Bee during an introductory period until he soon realizes he is in a safe stress free environment, cared for and loved. Bee currently resides in Oxnard with his rescuer. Bee is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, eats wet food, and eats dry food. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Bee please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Fraukie Nasdal at loveallcats7@gmail.com or (262) 402-0022. If you are unable to reach Fraukie please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!

Story
Kai Kekoa is a 'sea warrior' that's never been near the sea.  In fact, he was found all by himself in a field at less than one pound.  And boy is he your next Instagram-worthy star!  First, he's a charmer with those golden sunset eyes and black fur...with little tufts of silver-grey at his back end and tummy.  His tail gives major floof factor, too! He can give you the big doe eyes or his 'grumpy kitty' face---it's all show. And his eyes seem to change in the light with varying golden hues. His shenanigans crack up his foster.  He likes to play and explore all through the house and loves to be spoiled with pets and love.  This STELLAR actor also goes wild for his foster's human food--crying, meowing, frantically angling left and right to get at her plate..and the dogs' food...and the shared wet and dry food with the kitties.  He's a confident beauty who knows what he wants.  He gets along with all the kitties and dogs in the house just fine.  His best home would involve older kids and people who will roll their eyes and laugh at his antics and his robust play style.  When it's nap time, this actor goes Charmer-5,000KW and purrs, snuggles and butts his head on your hand.  Bedtime comes around and he snuggles up against his foster and purrs the night away.  Come morning, you'll wake to him laying on your chest for prime pets.  Approx. 7 months September '24.  Adoption fee $300 Currently in a foster home, you can set up a day to come meet this kitty (on Saturdays during adoption event hours). Please give us at least a week's notice via wtfnapa@gmail.com or (707) 258-2287 so our volunteers have time to answer messages and get back to you. Thank you!  Cats/kittens come spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and more with an adoption fee/donation to Whiskers, Tails and Ferals in Napa, CA.
