Story
Mr. Rose is a sweet, laid-back, non-aggressive Ragdoll who has been with his current family for the past 8 months. His original family, who he had been with since birth, needed to relocate to the east coast and were unable to bring him with them. He has lived with cat-friendly dogs and tolerates them, as well as an older, friendly, calm-tempered cat. His current home has a younger shorthaired Tabby female that aggressively engages with Mr. Rose. He wants no part of her unkind pestering behavior because it is causing him undue stress. His current owner realizes his sweet self deserves the quiet peaceful home he was accustomed to. We expect he will be a bit shy at first and might be slow to warm up to new people in a new environment. He will unfold in due time to reveal his docile, sweet, mellow, affectionate self. Rose likes interactive play with his toys and needs someone that will enjoy providing him with stimulating enrichment time each day. A loving quiet home where he can be a free-roaming, indoor-only kitty, with someone who is there most of the time, will be best for him. Mr. Rose loves wet canned food, cooked chicken and Kirkland dry kibble. He has perfect litter box habits using both automatic litter and standard litter boxes. He was last seen by his veterinarian in December of 2023 and has no known health concerns. He will be due for vaccine updates in October 2024. We don't know how he would be with youngsters. He will likely do well with older respectful, well mannered children 10-12 years and older, that would show him affection, enjoy engaging him in playtime and take good care of him. His owner is located 20 minutes west of Salem, Oregon from the I-5 corridor in Monmouth - his adopter(s) will need to personally meet him there. We hope you will consider how much love and comfort awaits the lucky adopter(s) for Mr. Rose. Could he be the perfect match for you? Reach out to us so we can explore that possibility! Mr. Rose is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. He currently lives with his owner in Monmouth. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Mr. Rose please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290-8408. If you are unable to reach Pam please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Story
Lovely Lexi. What a darling she is! She came to us from a Pedigreed Ragdoll Cattery whose owner asked our help to find homes for some of her gorgeous adult Ragdolls. The first two adoptions from this cattery, Ragmop, and Minnie, are on our Adopted Cats page. So here's Lexi, a friendly good-natured lovebug. She is an easy cat to find a home for because she likes other cats and thoroughly enjoys the attention of humans. She is a live wire, nine pounds of energy and curiosity. Her pictures sort of show the determined intelligence in her face. A confident explorer she is interested in everything. Lexi will be a good family cat probably comfortable with respectful children and respectful dogs. She will definitely keep you entertained. I have fostered Ragdolls for years for Purebreds Plus. They tend to be emotional cats and can have trouble accommodating change. Lexi is the exception to that rule. This girl was flown on a private jet from far away to get to us and it didn't set her back at all. She says "I am ready. Come on I am ready. Where's my new home?" I might add that this very well-regarded cattery (whose name we must keep private) DNA tests all of their breeding studs and queens. Only males and females who are negative for any heart and kidney genetic issues are chosen to breed these special companions. This is important and very nice to know. Lexi is a white-mitted (white-footed) lynx point girl. Look at her funny white toes on her front paws. The stripes on her head, legs and tail show her lynx points. Of course, her blue, blue eyes show her Ragdoll heritage. You can see her thick white ruff and the soft scrumptious hair on her tummy. She has been fed a diet of high-quality dry food with occasional good wet food. What she really likes best is for someone to give her tidbits of deboned and skinned Costco Rotisserie chicken. Costco brines their chickens before roasting them. Kitties (and humans ) love the taste of salt. She goes nuts for it but be sure to only give a little at a time. Some family will be so lucky to have her entertaining company and warm, cuddly loving attention. Lovely Lexi eats wet and dry food and is litterbox-perfect. Lovely Lexi is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped. She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Lovely Lexi please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. Story
Rory and Winnie MUST be adopted together. Big and Beautiful. That's what Ragdolls are. These two best friends, Winnie and Rory, are from the same Pedigreed Ragdoll Cattery as the cats Ragmop, Minnie and Blue Bear on our adopted cats page. The cattery owner asked us to help find homes for some of her cats. These cats are treasures. Winnie and Rory are very sweet to each other and they need to stay together. They are classic examples of this wonderful breed. Rory is a big, as the males usually are, 18 wonderful pounds. With his full lush coat he looks even bigger. Winnie is about 11 pounds. Her soft colors seem to change in different lighting conditions. Her blue eyes, like Rory's, are a wonderful deep blue. A few of my photo's caught their color. Ragdolls are known for their mellow, gentle, sensitive behavior. They are emotional cats and need a happy, fairly quiet home; they aren't comfortable with commotion and noisy humans. ( Maine Coons are fine with that.) Very sensitive kitties, Ragdolls will know how your day went. The breeder told me how they would come to comfort her when she wasn't feeling well. These two kitties are affectionate with each other and also with the humans who come to pet them. They love attention. Good natured and tolerant, these are easy care kitties. Their magnificent floofy coat is easy care also. Their long hair doesn't have the cottony undercoat that a Persian has so it doesn't matt much at all ( or shed that much ). It is super soft and wonderful to touch but grooming them is surprisingly easy. They don't need much brushing though they like it. The breeder of these kitties loves her chosen breed. Her cattery is well known and widely respected partly because she has carefully had her chosen breeding males and females carefully DNA tested before letting them breed. They all have no DNA identified genetic heart or kidney problems and a list of other probable troubles that can be avoided. It would be great if all breeders could and would do this. Winnie and Rory are healthy, social, loving beautiful kitties. They use their box. They eat wet and dry food. Their absolute favorite treat is deboned and skinned Costco Rotisserie Chicken cut into tiny pieces. Costco brines their chicken and humans and cats alike love that salty taste. Just don't give them too much at a time. No matter what they say. Some family will be so lucky to have the companionship of these two treasures. Rory is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped. He is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz. Story
This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, but it is in the absolute best interest for Gatsby to give her the happiest life with my recent hardships. She is an 11-year-old purebred blue lynx bi-color ragdoll that I’ve had since she was a kitten, but in the last few years with the introduction of another cat, she has grown to be extremely unhappy. It is why she absolutely MUST go to a no pet home so that she could be the only animal, and must be indoors only. She loves to sit on windowsills and bird watch, loves to give head butts and play hide and seek. She is not a lap cat, but shows love in her own ways and is mostly independent. Full disclosure she will need extensive dental work but other than that her vet says she’s doing well after a recent gland abscess procedure. She loves kids, freeze dried chicken treats and toys with feathers. I would love it if she could go to a relatively quiet home with a family experienced with cats.
