Story
Kaluah was adopted from the SPCA over 10 years ago. She is currently 14 years old. Kaluah was a result of my late-husband, who had famously hated cats, worrying that the first cat we adopted would be lonely and she needed a friend. Since Kaluah came to our home, she has been a quiet but loving presence. She may not be a cuddly cat, but she enjoys sharing space with people. She also likes to rub up on people for attention. As people have passed, children have become adults and left the home, and her other companion pets have passed, Kaluah has developed an issue with peeing around the house. She has been checked medically and vets have not found any issues. I have tried various interventions to deter her from peeing outside of her litter box, but nothing seems to be working. I believe she would do well in a quiet home with other people/pets that would be around her 24/7. I think then her peeing would reduce. If you need more information about her, please reach out.

Story
Coco is a beautiful, gentle, and sweet young cat who would thrive in a calm, quiet home. She’s healthy, mellow, and independent, but also affectionate in her own way — she greets you every morning when you wake up. I have four indoor cats in a small space, and Coco has become stressed living with multiple cats. Because of this, she has occasionally avoided the litter box. In a quieter home with fewer (or no) pets, she would have the space and security she needs to relax again. Coco would do best with an experienced cat owner who has a peaceful home and can give her the attention and calm environment she deserves. She is indoor-only and not suited for outdoor living. Coco is a lovely girl who just needs the right home to shine. I would be so grateful to find her a family who can offer her the comfort and stability she needs. ❤️

Story
Gwendolyn is a stunning 3-year-old girl with mesmerizing blue eyes and a gorgeous torti-point coat that requires only light brushing to keep her looking her best. This graceful lady has a calm and steady presence, perfect for someone seeking a devoted feline companion. Gwendolyn lives with rhinitis, a condition that causes chronic nasal inflammation, but don't let that worry you—it's easily managed and doesn't stop her from living her best life. She's the ideal balance of playful and relaxed. While she can be bashful when meeting new people, Gwendolyn's curious nature ensures she'll warm up in no time with a little patience. Once she feels at home, she loves being near her favorite humans, often asking to be picked up by placing her soft paws on your legs. She'll reward your affection with sweet kisses and occasional chats. This special girl would do her best as the only pet in a household where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. If you're looking for a devoted feline friend, Gwendolyn is ready to fill your home with warmth and love. Could Gwendolyn be the perfect match for you? She's waiting patiently for a forever home to call her very own. 🐾 Gwendolyn is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her foster family in Sacramento. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Gwendolyn please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Dayna at meandmyfosters@outlook.com If you are unable to reach Dayna please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. Story
Dublin and Berkeley MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. Adoption Fee: $300 for the pair Berkeley and Dublin are a stunning bonded pair of boys with a story that tugs at the heart. Dumped in a field and left to fend for themselves, these beautiful souls have only grown closer through their tough beginnings—and now they're looking for a calm, loving home to finally call their own. Bashful at first, Berkeley and Dublin are gentle and affectionate once they've had a little time to settle in. They thrive in a peaceful environment and will reward your patience with soft purrs, tender companionship, and the kind of love that only comes from animals who truly appreciate their second chance. These two are inseparable—wrestling buddies by day and snuggle partners by night. Whether they're chasing string toys, batting around balls, or blissed out on catnip, their playful energy is balanced perfectly with moments of quiet contentment. They're not the chattiest cats on the block, but offer them a few treats and you'll be treated to a sweet little back-and-forth that's uniquely theirs. If you're looking for a pair of bonded best friends who will bring both joy and serenity into your life, Berkeley and Dublin are ready to fill your home—and your heart—with love. Dublin is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. He currently lives with his foster family in Sacramento. Story
Jelly Roll and Blue Boy MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions Adoption Fee: $1100 for the pair A Ragdoll Cattery closed recently. The owner found it was much more work than she expected and soon after she started she decided not to continue. Purebreds Plus took in a group of her beautiful Ragdolls all of whom are about 1-3 years old. Three have gone home and Angelika and Latte are posted on our site. More will come soon as their vet appts are completed. These Ragdolls are all so young and fabulous I don't expect to have them long. Who wouldn't want them? Blue Boy and Jelly Roll are the best of friends. They arrived after the females came and shared a room together. They are so inseparable they must stay together. Blue Boy is the mildest of mild Ragdolls, not only in his easy going nature but also in the mild, soft colors of his cuddly, fluffy coat. He is a great dreamer, a deep thinker. You can see him in his separate bio posting. In contrast, his bonded pal, Jelly Roll, often has a bit more busy energy, curiosity and fun to him." Let's explore. What's over there? Can you wiggle a feather? Is it dinner time yet?. He loves attention and will climb in a lap for a nap and raise his hind end if you scritch him above his tail. He gets a little concerned when Blue Boy is out of his sight, looking all over. Most of these kitties were brought to this country from abroad but we don't know about these two who arrived with no microchips. (They are chipped now.) I would guess they are about 18 months old, still growing. They are considered adults when they get to being about three and a half years old. These boys are still babies. As they mature their colors will darken especially on their faces. These kitties have been combo tested negative / negative and are up to date with their FVRCP vaccinations, worming, flea meds etc. Ragdolls are known for being mellow, goodnatured, soft floofy kitties. Part of their heritage comes from Siamese cats ( this is where they get their blue eyes) and perhaps that gives them their very sensitive nature. They feel your emotions. These kitties need a particularly happy, quiet, peaceful home, no noisy toddlers or dogs, no loud music or commotion. They are cat friendly. With their elegant beauty they offer wonderful companionship. Loving their humans they need someone who is home a lot of the time. They, like all kitties, can bring you comfort and soft warmth in the dark of night. Some family will be so lucky to have this beautiful pair of best friends. Jelly Roll is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. He is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. Story
Blue Boy and Jelly Roll MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions Adoption Fee: $1100 for the pair Poor Blue Boy. He was so happy sleeping in the afternoon sun. "No, I don't want to wake up. Really. I mean it" Like a classic Ragdoll he was a very nice guy about it - accommodating this crazy photographer moving him here and there, fussing with him. "Look up, no up! I want to see those blue eyes.!!" I laughed at the photo's showing his patient, long suffering, expressions as he handled our interruption to his lovely afternoon. You can see he looks pretty sleepy in all his photo's. He is the mildest of mild Ragdolls, not only in his easy going nature but also in the mild, soft colors of his cuddly fluffy coat. Poor guy. He was such a good sport which is not the same thing as being a good model and I did not get a single great shot of his beautiful face with his icy blue eyes. Sorry. By contrast, his bonded pal, Jelly Roll, was a bunch of busy energy, curiosity and fun." I will pose for you!!! What do you want me to do.?" Here? How about here?
