Story
Gwendolyn is a stunning 3-year-old girl with mesmerizing blue eyes and a gorgeous torti-point coat that requires only light brushing to keep her looking her best. This graceful lady has a calm and steady presence, perfect for someone seeking a devoted feline companion. Gwendolyn lives with rhinitis, a condition that causes chronic nasal inflammation, but don't let that worry you—it's easily managed and doesn't stop her from living her best life. She's the ideal balance of playful and relaxed. While she can be bashful when meeting new people, Gwendolyn's curious nature ensures she'll warm up in no time with a little patience. Once she feels at home, she loves being near her favorite humans, often asking to be picked up by placing her soft paws on your legs. She'll reward your affection with sweet kisses and occasional chats. This special girl would do her best as the only pet in a household where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. If you're looking for a devoted feline friend, Gwendolyn is ready to fill your home with warmth and love. Could Gwendolyn be the perfect match for you? She's waiting patiently for a forever home to call her very own. 🐾 Gwendolyn is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her foster family in Sacramento. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. Story
The owner of a Pedigreed Ragdoll Cattery asked us to help find homes for some of her kitties. They are treasures. Scarlet is one of the youngest of these kitties. She is a bit of a diva who has not necessarily been pampered to quite the degree she thinks is appropriate. Like Blue Bear, maybe her light has been hidden under a barrel a little in this busy cattery full of slightly older important acting females who have had litters. She pouts a little. And dislikes me taking her picture. Scarlet was a little shy when she arrived, not quite confident in her new surroundings. As she got to know her foster moms she relaxed and began enjoying the attention we gave her. She can still get spooked by a stranger or a sudden sound or unexpected movement but she is still a baby learning about the world. She will be fine in her new home but, like most of these kitties, will need a little bit of time to adjust . Like most Ragdolls she needs a quiet, peaceful, orderly home. She is not a good kitty for a home with playing children or barking dogs. She wants to be treasured, admired, cosseted kept safe and secure. She has lived around cats and would likely be fine with nondominant goodnatured kitties but being an only cat would probably be totally fine with her. Her beautiful face is striking partly because it is symmetrical. Her dark seal coloring wraps all around her big blue eyes even by her nose. Her nose is the palest of pinks. Her feet and body are snowy white and her tail is brown and will probably turn darker as she matures. Scarlett's magnificent floofy coat is easy to care for. Her long hair doesn't have the cottony undercoat that a Persian's has so it doesn't matt or shed much at all. It is super soft and wonderful to touch but grooming is surprisingly easy. She doesn't need much brushing though she likes it. Ragdolls are known for their mellow, gentle behavior. They are emotional cats and need a happy home. With their sensitive nature, Ragdolls will know how your day went and comfort you through the hard times. Scarlet would like her humans to be home with her most of the time. Are you retired? Or do you work from home? That would be perfect. This girl is a healthy, social, loving kitty. She uses her box. She eats wet and dry food. Her absolute favorite treat is just a little deboned and skinned Costco Rotisserie Chicken cut into tiny pieces. Some family will be so lucky to have the companionship of this beautiful little treasure. Scarlet is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped. She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Scarlet please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. Story
What a darling Bridget is! She came to us from a Pedigreed Ragdoll Cattery whose owner asked our help to find homes for some of her gorgeous adult Ragdolls. I think Bridget was one of her special favorites. She told me Bridget used to follow her around and help her clean her litterboxes every single day. That is a true friend. l think she misses her, she ask about her often. We only got Bridget in early February through a program in which pilots volunteer their time and planes to help animals get to the rescue groups who can help them. Pilots for Paws it is a great program. Last week we got her spayed -you can her shaved pink tummy in some of the photo's. Now she is ready for her new home. Bridget has a little of the "grumpy kitty" in her expression but she is not grumpy girl, she is a big lovebug. She does find photographers to be entirely unnecessary since they are holding up something in her face which means they are not petting her. She just wants to put her head in your hand. My photo's don't do her justice and especially they don't show her blue blue eyes. So this little kitty really doesn't really want to be a movie star and she doesn't really want to be held to have her picture taken. I think being held is unfamiliar to her as it is to many of these kitties. She will get used to being held in her new home. I am hearing from my adopters that these wonderful kitties love being in their new homes where they can be the center of attention in a way they never were in their busy cattery. They settle in quickly and are happy. Bridget is a white mitted Seal Point which means her feet are snowy white in brown soft legs. Seal means dark brown and Lynx indicates that she has stripes on her forehead. She has a high drama look of contrasts brown and white with her lush cream ruff around her neck and very plush dark brown tail. Bridget is a loving, good natured playful girl. She likes other cats and would probably be fine with children middle aged and up. I don't know how she is with dogs. I expect she has never seen one. What she wants most is a human or humans who are home a lot. Do you work from home or are you retired so you have time to be her best friend? She would love that. Ragdolls are emotional, sensitive kitties that do best in happy, quiet, peaceful homes. Some family will be so lucky to have Bridget's entertaining company and warm, cuddly attention. Bridget is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.
