Hello!  I'm Pierre. I'm a sweet and cuddly apricot poodle. I was recently released from a breeder and now I'm ready for a new beginning. My goal now is to find you;  a forever family.  I'm learning potty training but you will need to work with me as I navigate through this. I've discovered toys and treats and I love playing with the other dogs in my foster home. I also do great in my kennel!Since I spent most of my previous time being caged, I spin in circles alot. My foster parents try to tell me to stop spinning or distract me with toys or a treat. When something squeaks or a phone dings, I find myself barking. But, like I said, I'm still navigating this big change! I love to cuddle in your lap and enjoy a comfy warm bed at night, so I feel like this could be the perfect way to end our nights together. Hiya! The name’s Monty. I am a happy go lucky little sheep who is ready to find his furever home! I love anyone that will give me love and snuggles. My little nub tail quivers and shakes with excitement any time I get lovins or you use an excited voice!  I get along well with dogs of all sizes, and I even met a cat once and didn’t even care! I hop right in my kennel when it’s time for her to leave for work for a treat. I don’t love that she leaves but I wait patiently and politely in my kennel like the good boy I am til she gets home and she can love me some more! I’m also great for grooming and don’t mind a good brush either.  My favorite game is to pull every single toy out of the toy basket and leave them around the house like land mines… and when mom puts them all back (she calls it “cleaning up”?? I dunno) I get to take them all back out again! It’s awesome!  A bit of sad news, when Fetch took me in from a commercial breeding program- they learned I was sick with something called heartworm. The good news is I’ve spent the last several months getting all the care and treatment I needed to be a healthy normal little dog again! There shouldn’t be any long term complications, and now that I’m healthy I’m just like every other little dog! My past might not have been the best, but I definitely don’t let that affect my attitude!
