Story
Introducing Kenzi! She is a local surrender when her family didn't have time for her.  She was originallly from a breeder.  Kenzi is an 11month old cockapoo.  She is little, weighing in around 20 pounds.  Kenzi has been in her foster home for about 5 months and has been doing well.  She is an active dog, who likes to run freely in the yard.  For that reason, a PHYSICAL FENCE IS REQUIRED IN HER HOME. Some of her favorites are playing fetch, hanging out with other dogs, and going for walks.   Kenzi is more of a dominant dog, so any other dogs in the home need to be submissive.  A meet would be required.  Kenzi is a little nervous when first meeting someone new, especially men, but warms up given time.  She also gets nervous around chaotic environments and needs a home where children are 12+ years old. Kenzi did come to her foster with some resource guarding issues. With adequate exercise and structure in her foster home, it has lessened considerably. A quick learner, she would benefit from a training class to keep her mind busy. Kenzi does walk well on a leash. At times, she is reactive, especially to men. and other people/dogs she sees. As she becomes more confident, that has also improved. Kenzi is crated at night and gated in a small area for periods up to 4 hours. She is mostly housebroken but will have an accident when very excited.   Someone that is home a lot would be best for Kenzi.   She needs an adopter that has the time to give her the best life. Kenzi's adoption fee is $550 which goes towards spaying at our vet, vaccines and medical care up to adoption, microchip and costs associated with fostsering. ##2069402##

Story
Mindi (Baby Girl) is a 3 yo, 10 lb poodle mix from Ohio. She was used as a breeder and received very little socialization, as  a puppy. This little peanut was missing quite a bit of hair when she arrived. With good nutrition and preventatives, her coat has shown a great improvement. Baby Girl is slowly coming out of her shell. She is not keen on cuddling yet, but LOVES: socializing with the foster's small dogs, going for walks and playing with her "dollies". She is not a fan of small children. Baby Girl was struggling with house training until it was found she had bladder stones, during her spay surgery. Because of this, she needs a special kibble, which she finds tasty. Since her surgery, she is finally progressing with pottying outside and has no accidents for about 10 days. She sleeps in her crate at night, but is uncrated during the day and needs to go outside frequently. She has good house manners and is well behaved when free. Her ideal home needs at least one other dog, no small children, someone who is home a lot. Also, A PHYSICALLY FENCED YARD. Baby Girl's adoption fee is $400, which covers all of her vetting, microchip and costs associated with fostering. ##2105405##
