He loves playing with the other dog in the home, running in the yard, and chewing on his toys. While not a very high energy dog, Wasti's not one to have "idle paws." Brain games, puzzles, chew toys, and walks will go a long way in keeping this kiddo entertained. Wasti behaves as if he's been used to getting his way. Don't worry - he's been picking up on his obedience pretty quick! He's not much of a jumper and is excellent at keeping "four on the floor." He's been working on his basic commands, is potty trained, and is practicing kenneling without protest. Wasti enjoys getting to play with the cats in the home and listens well to redirection when he starts playing too rough. Because of his puppy play style, he may do best in a home with dog-savvy cats or no cats. He has also done well with children of all ages. I'm a very handsome Miniature Poodle, and I'm discovering the joys of comfort and love in my foster home. Each day brings me more confidence, and I'm eager to share my overflowing love with a special someone—maybe that's you! I am a bit timid, sudden movements, commotion, and loud noises still make me a bit uneasy. However, I'm getting better at facing these fears every day. When foster mom is still, I'm all about those loving pets and cuddles. But if she's on the move, I keep my distance—I even bolt if she walks toward me. I know commands like "outside" and "stop," and leash and potty training are still on my to-learn list. I'm 95% potty trained, especially with a consistent routine. A fenced yard is a must for my adventurous spirit. I'd love to have a canine companion to show me the ropes, help me 'dog' properly, and boost my confidence. We're working on some manners, and my foster pals are excellent teachers. Walking on a leash needs some practice, and a confident pal by my side would be perfect. Despite being easily startled and a bit hand-shy, I've found joy in playing with toys, furry friends, and even those mysterious creatures called cats. I'm all about giving kisses, nibbling fingers, and enjoying ear scratches. Zoomies are my specialty, especially in the fenced yard or on the stairs. I've got some manners to polish up, like waiting for my turn and distinguishing between toys and household items – hee hee!
