Meet Geoffrey This tiny 1-year-old heart-stealer wound up at ACCT Philly after being found as a stray. We happened to be there picking up another dog when we saw that little face… and he was absolutely pleading for a ride out of there. Of course, we couldn’t say no. After giving us a run for our money during his nail trim (small but mighty!), Geoffrey has settled in beautifully in his foster home. He’s working on his housebreaking — and he’s a smart little guy who will do his very best to keep his sleeping space clean by aiming out of his kennel. Geoffrey has been wonderful with the children, dogs, and even the cat in his foster home. He loves going for walks, adores attention, and his very favorite place to be is snuggled up on a warm lap. Lucky for his foster, he’s such a tiny guy that he fits perfectly. Geoffrey is now ready to find a forever home with a permanent lap to call his own. Story
 Welcome sweet Collette!  A couple of weeks ago, we welcomed Collette into the rescue after she was released from a Lancaster puppy mill — no longer “useful” to them. This 4-year-old French Bulldog is now getting her very first taste of freedom, kindness, and love. Collette came to us shy and unsure, but she’s quickly learning that gentle hands and soft voices can be trusted. She’s starting to enjoy belly rubs, sunny spots in the yard, and the company of her two foster dog friends. She’s working on her housebreaking (something that takes a little extra time for our mill moms who were never taught where to go) and every day she grows a bit braver. Collette will be spayed in the coming weeks and then will be ready to find a forever family who will show her what unconditional love truly feels like.
