Story
Meet Newt,  a stunning 9 month old chocolate colored puppy that just arrived into the rescue 2/7/25.  He is an owner surrender with his brother from an April 2024 litter - Mother is a beagle and father was a Shar Pei along. Newt is a sweet, smart boy with typical puppy energy who has learned to sit already in 2 days.  He gets along very well with dogs and loves to run around in the yard with them and be around them inside.  Newt has met cats and if they run game on, however the dog savvy cat doesn't run and he does ok with.  This smart boy is potty trained.  Newt has received his Vaccines and will need to be neutered. He is working on crate training and settles after about 20 minutes. Newt is very food motivated and is doing well using a slow feeder.  He is learning how to walk properly on a leash, loves to sniff everything and doesn't pull to much.   If you would like to have Newt join your family, please fill out an adoption application on the website. ##2298180##

Story
Say hello to little Arlo. Arlo is a 15 week old male puppy.  He is a mix of Shar Pei and Beagle.  Arlo was surrendered to the rescue with 6 siblings as the owner was unable to care for them anymore and couldn't find them a home.  Arlo has puppy energy and will need a home with adopters who have the time to devote to puppy training and socialization.  He is in foster care and will be working on potty and crate training. He loves his food and playing with toys. Unfortunately, cats are a no for Arlo as he tends to chase them.  Arlo has started his vaccinations and will eventually be neutered.  He does very well with his foster brother.  Fill out an application today to get this adorable little boy!  Arlo's adoption fee is $500 which goes towards neutering at the rescue's vet, vaccines and medical care up to adoption, microchip and costs associated with fostering.  Arlo is in Syracuse area and available to meet. ##2298184##
