Meet Clint Eastwood (25 pounds)! This sweet pup was brought to us as an owner surrender, along with a few other friends. He’s a sweet guy who loves to be by your side, whether that’s on the couch and chilling out, or out for a winter wonderland walk. He’s quite the ham on walks, and like most hounds, appreciates all of the good smells that he can find. If you have a dog(s) already in your home, once you meet Mr. Eastwood, our adoptions team would love to set up a meet-and-greet with your resident pup to see how they get along. Meet Alvin (12 pounds), a small senior boy looking for a home (and a hula hoop) for the holidays! Alvin can be slow to warm up to new people and tends to be picky about new friends in general. Once he is comfortable with you, be prepared to have a little shadow! With his buddies, Alvin loves to be doted on, held and petted (but please don’t assume he wants your friends to do the same). Since he can`t tell us exactly what his likes and dislikes are, we are looking for humans who can read his body language and advocate for him out in the world when needed. We think his ideal home would be on the quiet side, with adults or older teens only, and without a lot of strangers coming and going. Alvin finds it challenging to share his prized items and people with other dogs, so he may be happiest as your one and only. If you think Alvin is the type of guy you`re looking for, stop by the shelter and ask to meet him!
