Story
We have had both Clarke and Lois (brother and sister) for about 5 years. Clarke loves people and to be scratched. Of the two, he is the one who most likely follows me around the house. He prefers being inside... we let them in our back yard but he often wants to immediately come back inside. He can be a little territorial in certain situations, but once he warms to someone, he is a pushover. Lois and Clarke never really got along with each other; they occasionally fight because they are not good at sharing, though that has gotten better over the years. When we take them to be boarded, we always get positive reviews and generally it seems like he gets along OK with other dogs once he is used to them. He is good with our kids. Overall though, they would probably be happier in separate homes, though other pets might be OK after some adjustment. In general, we are looking for a new home because our new young one is allergic to dogs.

Story

She can be a little shy and uncertain of people at first, but once she warms to someone, she is very friendly. When we take them to be boarded, we always get positive reviews and generally it seems like she gets along OK with other dogs once she is used to them. She is good with our kids and can get pretty energetic and playful. Overall though, they would probably be happier in separate homes, though other pets might be OK after some adjustment. In general, we are looking for a new home because our new young one is allergic to dogs.

Lilly is a 44 pound, 6 to 7 year old female beagle mixed breed. She is in good health and is always in good spirits. Although little is known about her background, it is apparent she has been loved as she is not fearful of men, women, kids and other dogs. Lilly enjoys her walks with the other dog in her foster home and greets other dogs and kids with a wagging tail and interested sniff. She has good house manners and loves to cuddle on the couch. Lilly is up to date on her shots and is altered. To meet her please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $225.
