Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, April 11. Instead, we are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applicants. Contact us to learn more!* Meet Coco, a gentle, low-energy sweetheart who brings a calm and easygoing presence to any home. He’s incredibly obedient and eager to please, always looking to his people for guidance and happy to follow their lead. Coco has excellent house manners—he is fully kennel trained, house trained, and potty trained. He’s the kind of dog you don’t have to worry about when you’re away, as he doesn’t chew, jump, or bark unnecessarily. He settles in beautifully and is content simply being near his people. He has a wonderfully social and tolerant nature, getting along great with young children, other dogs, and even cats. Whether it’s a relaxed day at home or quietly tagging along with the family, Coco is just happy to be included. If you’re looking for a calm, well-mannered companion who will seamlessly fit into your home and routine, Coco might just be your perfect match. Coco is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $600 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Coco is also tested with other dogs, children, cats, and potty and kennel trained. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Hello! My name is Claret Cup Cactus, but I go by Clare once you get to know me. This is my best friend Liza- she helps me feel safe, confident, and strong! Liza and I are looking for a home that loves little friends like us. Our past was pretty rough, but since coming to the Alliance, we are learning how great and comfortable life can be. My foster parents say my name matches my personality - I am beautiful, but I do need my space until I have had a chance to get to know you. Do you have the space in your heart (and on your couch) for two little chihuahuas?
We'll also keep you updated on Liza's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Woof! I'm Liza, and this is my buddy Clare, short for Claret Cup Cactus! We are a pair of chihuahuas who are looking for a new home to call our own. Clare and I had a rough start to life, but we have come through all of the challenges brave and strong! When I arrived at the Alliance, I was so, so sad (check out some of my photos to see my old self), but with some special care and a loving foster home, I'm doing great now! My friend Clare relies on me for her confidence, and she helps me get around, because I'm blind! You'd never know just looking at me! In fact, my foster parents say I have a ton of confidence and often try to take on stairs or heights - baby gates have been very helpful :) I love snuggles and am more than happy to be the social butterfly of this duo! Anyway, we are excited to meet new friends, and are hoping to find our next great adventure soon!
