PLEASE NOTE: Pet Harbor adopts to residents of the South Bay area of Los Angeles county only. To adopt one of our pets, please call us or send us an email to request an adoption application. Only Southern CA Adoptions Unfortunately the family found Bailey to be too hyper. She is estimated to be 1 years old. They simply didn't realize what they got themselves into. She was too much for them being older couple. Very sweet dog who is potty trained, is crate trained - she hasn't really been left alone in the home by herself without being in a crate. She is working on leash training skills currently is doing much better. Foster mom is currently working with her to improve to make her better quality dog for her forever home. She is spayed and update on shots-- also microchipped. She estimated to be 12-13 pounds estimated -- She completely dog friendly , be okay with older kids estimated around 6 or 7 years old and older. She fantastic dog who will be patient with her to give her time to adjust. Definitely needs a lot doggy socialization since she young and loves to be around dogs her size. Kiwi and Mimi were used by breeders in a remote area north of Los Angeles and then dumped. They were found together and we think they are mother and daughter. They love each other and play and cuddle together as the best of friends. Kiwi and Mimi are both very person oriented and will gratefully soak up affection at the slightest invitation. They both enjoy going for walks and are leash trained and are excellent hiking companions. Kiwi and Mimi are also superb cuddle companions and love to snuggle up with you or just sunbathe. They are healthy, house trained, spayed, current on all vaccines and microchipped. Adoption only open to Southern California residents. We do not foster / adopt any of our dogs to households with children under 10 years old. A foster / adoption application must be filled out PRIOR to anyone meeting any of our dogs. PENDING AS OF 10/9/2024: Meet Basco! DOB 1/16/2024 This cutie is an INCREDIBLY SMART PUPPY! He already knows how to use the doggy door and gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and ages, cats, and kids. He’s mastered the “Sit” command and is neutered, microchipped with AKC, dewormed, and vaccinated. Basco is housetrained; he was doing great with potty pad training, but his foster mom has now taught him to go outside, so he no longer needs the pads. He enjoys eating wet canned food and kibble, and he loves being held and showered with affection. Basco plays happily with his foster siblings and the pets next door, and it doesn’t matter the age, size, or breed—he adapts his play style to match the energy of other dogs. He’s an all-around fantastic little dog who is very smart and easily trainable. Basco also does well on a leash! Don’t miss out on this wonderful companion! Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, he gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and dogs—truly the perfect companion! When he needs to go outside to do his "business", he simply stands by the door, and if there’s a doggy door, he happily lets himself out.
