Story
Meet Freebow, the coolest Beagle boy in town! This super chill and mellow dude knows how to take life easy. Whether it’s snoozing on a comfy couch or just hanging out by your side, Freebow is all about the simple joys. He’s got the sweetest eyes that’ll melt your heart and a laid-back vibe that makes every day feel like Sunday. Freebow’s favorite hobbies include lounging and getting belly rubs. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, calm companion who’ll bring peace and love to your home, Freebow’s your guy! Here's some notes from his foster: Meet Freebow, a sweet boy who is oh-so go with the flow. Freebow is a very curious chap, who takes his window watching time very seriously. On walks, he loves to explore- one of his fav past times is trying to figure out what is in the gopher holes on the beach! When he is not exploring, he loves to chill and be snuggly. Freebow is obviously quite the looker- but his personality makes him 547573298 times cuter! From his cute little waddle, to his big brown eyes that look straight into your soul. He likes to go on walks, as long as it's not raining, and does well on a leash! He is also potty-trained, a good eater, and pretty much perfect. This lil man is so calm and chill, he would do great in a home with other dogs and seems to like children when we run into them on walks. The only time he barks is when he is snuggling on your lap and hears a knock at the door! He is so smart! He responds to his name, and wags his tail if you ask him if he's a good boy. HE LOVES being called silly nick-names I made up for him, and gets so excited when I talk to him in "doggy voice" and gives me all the kisses. I feel like I can have full on conversations with him and he understands every word. Have I mentioned he's perfect yet? Freebow has been really coming more out of his shell, and his fun little personality is showing more and more. He has fallen in love with a unicorn toy and he proudly shows it off to you before playing for a minute and then snuggling with it. He gets so excited when I get home and races up to me to greet me with paw tippy taps and kisses. We found out he can do stairs as well! He gets very attached and loves his human, but he doesn't feel the need to follow you everywhere. If your looking for a sweet, mellow friend who will light up your life, look now further than Freebow! He is so perfect and we are having so much fun with this loving lil guy!

Story
Momo was found as a stray in Salinas. She was microchipped, but her people never claimed her. This little girlie is a very playful, persistently affectionate, potty trained pug/chi mix.   Momo is currently being fostered with another dog her size, and they love to run around and chase each other. She also loves to run around the yard by herself and is good at keeping occupied with toys.   Momo has good leash manners. She’s curious about people, but can be wary and might need a little time to get used to someone. Momo weighs 12 pounds and we think she’s pretty young (1-2) based on her energy level and perfect teeth. Speaking of teeth, check out that adorable underbite!   Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for MOMO is $300. If you are interested in adopting MOMO, please complete our online adoption application at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process/ . One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, confined to the SF Bay Area. See our other available dogs at  https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/available-dogs/ February 17, 2025, 8:41 pm

Story
Miss Piggy was found roaming the streets; her owner was not found, and she had no chip. We took her in from the person who found her. Unfortunately, we do not have the time to give her the attention she needs, she is extremely friendly and needs a lot of attention. Every time she is left alone, she is very sad. She needs an owner who works from home or has more friendly pets to keep Miss Piggy happy. We took her to the Vet, and she got most of her meds. We will also provide toys, a crate, a leash, food, flea prevention, etc. We do not know her age exactly, and she needs to get an ultrasound to see if the is fixed or not.
