Story
Bear is 11 years old his birthday is in October. I got him when i was about 7 and living in Florida and i am 18 now and off to college. Im going to be moving soon and i cant afford to take him with me and there is no one i know that would be willing to care for him while Im gone. Bear is outgoing, loving, and a bit loud haha he knows how to howl and loves to do so. But he will always be there for you whether sad or happy hes an amazing dude. Im just looking for a loving person or family to take him and care for him for as long as he has left because even thought he is 11 he is full of life. He has a bump on his back but i cant afford to take him to a vet yet it hasnt caused him any pain. It popped and it was just pus but then later it grew back so maybe it needs to be surgically removed but i dont have the money for that if that is what is needed.

Story
Meet Jacqui! She is a lovable, snuggly, 1 year old puggle. Unfortunately, she needs a new home due to our relocation She is great with children and loves meeting other dogs. Jacqui comes fully vaccinated, microchipped and house trained. She also has been crate trained for when we leave the house.... although, she loves to sleep in bed and snuggle with us at night. Due to our untimely and quick re-location, we are only asking for a small pet fee to ensure the safety of this sweet little girl.

Story
Luka is approximately one year old; 35 pounds; neutered male. Now the good stuff….. He is puggle/boxer breed! Boxer dogs are loyal, loving and athletic. This firm, muscular breed is considered a good dog for families, especially if you have an active lifestyle. Though they are friendly with other dogs; they tend to be aggressive with their own breed. However, Luka is mixed with Puggle! Meet the puggle: A high-energy, affectionate small mixed breed that's a combination of the pug and beagle. He's the ideal pup for active families. Luka needs a family that can keep him stimulated—especially since he is a mixed breed full of ENERGY!!!

Story
The girl with the winning smile! Hey guys! I am Sussie, Sussie Q. I am a 4 years old, female Pug mix, spayed and about 11 lbs. Heard of the Chandler 55 case? Yes, I am a part of the disabled hoarded dog pack that was rescued from the monster house. With my sweet spirit and smile, you’d never guess what I have gone through. But only when you see my vet report! It’s manageable I pawmise. I have Congenital Angular front limb deformity and Chronic orthopedic condition that affects mobility in hind legs that may have been caused by soft tissue injury that has healed. I have started a monthly injection of Librela (Cost depends on established vet pricing and dosage, ~$100-$200). It is the first and only monthly anti-NGF Monoclonal antibody injection to help control pain for canines with Osteoarthritis. At this time, my foster mom states that the Librela is working. As long as I am being medically managed for mobility issues no surgery is necessary, but will not know know more until later. Surgery will be my adopter's financial responsibility if it is determined it is needed later by our future established vet. Regarding my training, I am leash trained for the 5-10 min walks I take due to leg deformities. The stroller with a soft blankie is my friend! I am pee pad trained. I am not crate trained. Now coming to my personality, the best part! My mama says that I am an absolute perfection! I love playing with dogs and toys, chewing on bones and sometimes your stuff haha but being all cute about it! I am a lap dog and you'd love my snuggles. If I could climb up on your shoulders and into your skin, I would do it! We can be best mates watching tv, all cuddling and being adorable. I am quite fond of dogs, but big ones are scarier and need warming up time. I haven't met cats yet, but I think I will be fine. what, how do I even chase them?! I am very good with kids! I do get separation anxiety where I get anxious and scream, but having another dog completely calms me. I am obviously not a hiking dog, but I do make a good cafe date in my stroller. I am always grateful for my rescue and leaving behind that house of horrors. I do a lil dance when I get a new soft blanket and my zeal is infectious. I am the absolutely cutest little nugget that everyone falls in love with when they meet. I am looking for only the best home that will spoil me rotten because that is what this little princess deserves. If there are no dogs in the home I will need humans around for companionship. Any DINK couple around that likes to bring their dog everywhere with them? I am looking for a home with the best chew bones, softest blankets, and good sunbathing spots. If you think you have that X-factor, let's go get a drink together! My adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. ATTENTION:  All of our dogs are in private foster homes.  We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs.  If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application.    We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet Callie!  Callie is a 20ish pound, 9 year old pug mix.  She is so sweet! She’s a total couch potato who also guards the house from her perch. Callie is potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go out. She loves going for short walks and enjoys the dog park. Callie loves to play with stuffed toys- but caution because she will pull their eyes and stuffing out. Always wanting to be part of the action, she’ll follow her foster family from room to room or sit right in the middle of the happenings. She loves back scratches and booty pats, but avoids touches to her head. She’s great with the resident 5 and 6 year old kids and will hang out with them and snuggle.  She seems to be more of a woman’s dog, but tolerates men just fine. A family with another chill dog would be great for her. She is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,   vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to  www.secondchancedogrescue.org  and complete an application today!    All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.  December 27, 2024, 11:12 pm
