A big dog that got stuck in a small dog body!! I'm a youngster yet at around a year old and come in at around 10lbs. Perfection at joining you on walks but not taking up much room while we cuddle!! I'm sweet and affectionate but also active, playful, adventurous and I love joining those big pups for walks especially when we head for the river. I'll jump right in with the best of 'em!! I do great with people and all the other foster pups here, big or small. Although I haven't met any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet. I'm a very happy go lucky, fun lovin little gal that would love a home and family that is ready for all this big personality in this small package! I'm just hoping you're filling out my adoption application...right now!!!!

My chance for a loving home and family, my chance to shine!! I was found by a library dumpster, hoping against all hope that someone would find me. I sure enough was and I was deemed the name Sansa! I am a tad bit shy at first meet but it won't be long before I'm following you...everywhere!! I'm only a youngster at around a year old so I have a lot of learning to do about this big ole world yet as new and loud noises makes me a little nervous. I am playful and have a little bit of a goofy side to me. I love playing with my 'sibling' pups and do great with people once I get to know them. I love playing with my toys especially the ones that go 'squeak'!! I'm also quite fond on getting pets on the forehead and my back legs. At about 20lbs I'm a pawsome size for being that companion pup for someone that works from home or is retired. My ideal home would to be part of a family that will have lots of time to give me lovins and attention. I could even do great being that adventure companion! I have so much love to give along with my playful nature (and this cutest little underbite going on) that you just cant' help but want to squeeze me in big hugs!! To get in all those hugs, you just need to fill out my adoption application...today, please!!!!

Story
Trisha's story: My name is Trisha but where I came from I was just a number. #82 was how they identified me. All I remember is from when they pulled me from my mom while I was still nursing and then put me in a crate all to myself. This crate was my home for the last year and all that I knew. One side would be where I would lay and often where I would have to potty while the other side is where they would toss in food and water to me. As I got older they would start forcing male dogs in my crate....it was a scary time. I wanted to play but I realized that playing would never be an option for me. Time after time and not producing any babies they would get so mad at me and gave me even less time seeing a human. I just don't understand this world. My tail wiggles because something inside of me says they will give me pettings. They would give me kisses. Maybe they would even take me outside to play....That day never happened. Not for me. Time went by very slowly in that crate. Yes I am number #82 but to Last Paw Rescue who got me out of there, I am Trisha. I am in a home where I don't have to be in a crate 24/7. I have this room (kennel) with these fluffy square sheets that my foster mom calls them my blankie and I can not explain how wonderful it feels. This room of mine, I could go in and out as I pleased. I have these things called toys which I'm not sure how to play with so I just push them around. It's actually fun to me! I even got to feel grass the other day for the first time and I could not help but to drag myself all over the ground, it felt so good. No one told me grass would be this great! Even the foster dogs I am with have been showing me around which helps me feel so much better with being in a new place. I am still so scared because this is so new to me but I crave it. When my foster mom held me and showed me off to all these tiny human kids I felt so wanted and my tail just started to wiggle out of control. I just couldn't stop it. This warm feeling showered over me. I know where I was is not home and not where I was supposed to be. I now know that I'm on a journey to find a real home. A place where I am not a number but I am family. I want to be a dog! I want to be loved and I want to love back! I have it in me I know it and I am willing to prove it to my future family. I may not be perfect with these cherry eyes but the rescues is helping raise money to have the surgery done on my eyes. So then when I leave my foster home I can work on my new chapter in life with humans that want to love me. If you happen to have time please share my story. I'm not the only one for I have a sister...many sisters, who have faced that same thing that I did. From here on out I am Trisha and I am searching for my forever home!
