Story
Animal Profile:  Tattie is a 20lb, 6-year-old female pug that found herself in need of rescue when she wound up in the Moreno Valley Shelter. We saw her profile, and knew we needed to get her out! A cage is no place to live for a pugtato. She arrives Sunday 10/20 and we are excited to meet her! We discovered Tattie is blind in one eye, but that doesn’t stop her from living her best life!  Foster Update:  Tattie is a sweet, sassy girl. She loves cuddles, cozy dog beds, soft squeaky toys and naps. She wants to be part of all the family activities. She is thriving with our daily routine and takes cues from other dogs. She snores rather loud but has a quiet bark that she rarely uses. She can be pretty sporty in short bursts. She doesn’t love walks and will not go potty just because she’s outside (apartment life wouldn’t be a good fit). She needs time to explore the yard. She likes soft treats but isn’t very motivated by food. She can go up the stairs but can’t go down them (we’re working on that).   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, and microchip with registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History:  This dog is arriving from San Bernadino via Wiggle Butts Transport on Sunday 10/20/2024. She will be available for adoption in the Seattle area. December 10, 2024, 3:14 pm

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Introducing this wild and SUPER fun girl, Coconut! She is a 2-year-old, 15lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who came from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Coconut is absolutely the BEST and a total ham! She is a blast to hang out with, and there is never a dull moment with her! If you are looking for a new fun, quirky, loving, and cuddly companion then she is your girl! Coconut loves to go on walks and explore with her person as well as be held and cuddle up in your arms. She would love a forever home that takes her out on daily adventures and lets her explore the world, while allowing her to also chill out on the sofa with them in the evening. She has been great with other dogs in our care and would be a wonderful additional dog to a home as she would love a doggy playmate. She would also be fine as an only dog if she had continued socialization. Coconut is going to make an AWESOME companion to whoever adopts her! She is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Lucas is a 3-month-old Chihuahua, Terrier, and Pug mix who is full of life and bursting with energy. He’s happy, playful, and loves to keep busy! Lucas spends his days playing with other dogs, running around, and having fun with his toys. He’s a little bundle of joy who brings smiles wherever he goes.Lucas would thrive in an active home with other pets, whether they’re dogs or cats, and he’s great with kids who enjoy playing as much as he does. His ideal family is one that can match his energy and offer him plenty of love, patience, and attention.A home where Lucas would be left alone for long periods or with less active owners wouldn’t be the best fit. This little guy needs someone who can keep up with his playful spirit and give him the time and affection he deserves.Rescued alongside his three siblings, Lucas has been given a second chance at life and is ready to find his forever family. He’s a healthy, happy puppy who loves to play all day and sleep through the night. Lucas knows how to come when called and is already learning to fetch and return toys.If you’re looking for a fun-loving puppy who will fill your home with joy and laughter, Lucas is the perfect match for you! Story
Tito is a joyful and playful dog who loves nothing more than playing fetch, running around with other dogs, and earning treats for being a good boy. With his sweet personality and handsome looks, Tito is sure to win your heart in no time!Tito’s ideal home would have a large yard where he can play and plenty of love to share. He thrives with other dogs and would do best in a home with a furry friend to keep him company. Tito is great at making friends and would make an excellent companion for an animal-loving family. An apartment or a home without enough space wouldn’t be the right fit for Tito, as he loves to run and play. He also needs a family who will shower him with love and attention—this pup craves affection and enjoys being part of the pack.Tito came into rescue when a friend asked for temporary help finding him a home, and he’s since proven to be an amazing companion. He currently lives with three other dogs and is the playful star of the group. At bedtime, Tito loves snuggling up with his canine pals, which is why his perfect forever family will have another dog for him to bond with.Tito already knows how to sit, stay, and fetch, making him a wonderful addition to any home. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion who will bring joy and energy into your life, Tito is ready to meet you! Story
Yoda is a busy, happy, and playful young pup who’s always ready for an adventure. He loves playing, running, exploring, and chewing on his favorite toys. This energetic boy needs an active family who can keep him entertained and provide plenty of opportunities for him to run and stretch his legs.Yoda’s ideal home includes a yard to explore, a family that enjoys playtime, and ideally another dog to be his partner in fun. He thrives with active owners who understand the needs of a young puppy and can provide him with the love, training, and attention he deserves.A home where Yoda is left alone for long periods, or with an inactive owner, wouldn’t be the best fit. He’s a smart and social dog who loves companionship and needs plenty of mental and physical stimulation to stay happy.Yoda was rescued as part of a litter born into a home where the pups were at risk of abandonment. Despite his challenging start, Yoda has blossomed into a loving, spirited pup. When he’s not playing, he loves to cuddle and sleeps soundly in his crate through the night. While he’s still working on house training, he’s a fast learner and ready to keep improving with his forever family. If you’re looking for an energetic and loving pup to join your family, Yoda is ready to be your playful and loyal companion! Story
Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Hi, my name is Emerald and I'm 47 lbs. of cuddly sweetness once I know I can trust you. I'm a 4-year-old EB mix and my foster mom calls me "sweet girl". I'm crate trained but would rather spend my time with my humans rather than be in my crate too often. I'm completely potty trained and haven't had an accident yet. However, if I get really stressed out, such as a trip to the doggy Dr, I stress poo and need to go RIGHT NOW, but you'll know I'm stressed before it happens!! I spent a lot of time in my crate in my last home, so I haven't been socialized and am learning how to interact with strangers and other animals. I also wasn't leash trained, but my foster mom got me a snazzy new harness and we go on walks every day. I am still very scared and reactive to all of the new sounds and people/animals in the world, so my foster mom has been teaching me how to "leave it and sit." When I get overwhelmed while we're out and about, this prompts me to sit down for a treat (she keeps a stash in her pocket) and this distracts me from what spooked me. I'm very sensitive to "stranger danger" and fear strangers, so I need slow introductions in a safe space, but the people I've met so far have won me over eventually (treats are a good icebreaker). However, I do get very protective of my home and human, so when someone comes to the door, I let them know I'm the great protector of this home. I have some skin issues that my foster mom is helping me with, but they won't stop me from becoming adoptable! I'm very good at bath time and play statue until I'm told it's ok to jump out. As is normal for a bulldog, I will need a limited diet and regular maintenance to keep my skin allergies under control, other than that, I'm recently spayed and healthy! I am so eager to please you once I know I can trust you, and I get hurt feelings and pout when my foster mom scolds me. I love to wiggle my butt and cuddle, I LOVE to play with my toys and chew my bones, and I like to stick my nose into everything my foster mom is doing in case she needs my assistance. I will do best in a child-free home as I get stressed out with the little ones. I will do best as the only animal and queen of my castle so hopefully you don't have any dogs or cats. My foster mom has gotten quite smitten with me; she tells me how smart I am and calls me "silly girl" when I get frisky with my toys and toss them around then chase them. I can entertain myself with my toys and then I'm ready for a nice long nap, preferably on the couch with you, or in my bed on the floor near you. Because I still need work with socialization and acclimating to the scary busy world around me, I would do best with someone that has dog experience and can be VERY patient with me while I blossom and continually learn to trust humans. My foster mom says I have LOTS of potential and l have sooooo much love to give to the right home. So, if you think you could be patient with me and my needs and love me unconditionally, I would be sooooo happy to meet you and find my Furever best human and home. I think I could be your best little cuddle buddy if you take a chance on me, and I'll show you how well I can toss my own toys then chase after them!

Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ SSSB ALERT!!! (Super Sweet Special Boy): Hulk is a lovebug! He is a 3-year-old, 75lb. Old English Bulldog. Don't let his unique look fool you. He is all bulldog! Allergies, skin issues. The good news? We know what he is allergic to. We even have diet suggestions that will help going forward. In the past year, Hulk has undergone two major types of surgeries. Both knees, and both eyes! Currently, Hulk has a bit of weakness in his hind legs (but don't tell him) and needs compounding eye drops for both eyes, 2x daily. Even though Hulk is super sweet, we recommend that he goes to a household that has owned a bulldog previously or has older kids. He is strong and can unknowingly knock you over. He is a happy, energetic boy, who wants to be part of it all. Mostly, ALL of your lap! He currently is living with a small dog and a dog savvy cat. He can be triggered by dogs his size or larger, slow, monitored introductions would be recommended. Good with kids - ages 10 and up suggested. He would thrive having other animals in his living situation but would also love to be the only SSSB! Do you have room for this "lapdog" in your life?

Story
Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ I'm a good girl who's had a *ruff start in life. My foster parents don't know my history because I was dumped behind a bar in Portland, OR so we're learning together. I start off shy, but that's because I had a scary past. I just need to be reassured that you're going to love me and that I can trust you, and I will be your goodest, silliest girl. I will follow you everywhere, making sure that you're safe when you are at your most vulnerable...going to the bathroom. I take that job seriously. I can't fetch you toilet paper, or a towel, but I will commiserate with you if you find yourself in those situations. That's what goodest girls do. I would love a home with a yard so that I can really get my zoomies on, but I'm good in an apartment too. I'm a pro with stairs, but that doesn't mean I like them. Just sayin'. I definitely enjoy my walks, but I'm a strong girl and will pull you so you need to reign me in sometimes. I know I need someone with some bulldog experience because I can be a bit headstrong and if you give me an inch, I'll take that mile. An active (but not overly) family with older kids so that we can go to parks, and things of that nature. I'm learning about play, so it would be a lot of fun to learn how to play with a family. I love it when my foster mom puts treats in my Kong and then makes me figure out how to get those nom noms. I am potty and crate trained. I give subtle signs, so if you miss them, I'm sorry. If you have to walk me for potty breaks, just know there needs to be a "certain vibe" going on in order for me to feel comfortable to go. It can take a bit of time, walking, and quite possibly bushes for me to go behind to discreetly do my business.
